Configure your Mac to open email (mailto:) links in your webmail service of choice — works with Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Office365, Fastmail, Zoho, AOL, and Yandex.
If you're annoyed that Apple Mail opens every time you click an email address in your web browser, this is the solution! It's the missing settings panel that every Mac webmail user needs.
Works system-wide across all browsers and apps — no need to setup browser plugins.
• Fixed bug where addresses containing the plus-sign (e.g. email@example.com) would not work on some email services.
• Outlook.com users will now see the full-screen email composer when opening email links.

YAY ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Ever since Safari/MacOS dropped support for unverifiable extensions like the old mail:to, I have been soooo frustrated. I love using Safari for many reasons, not least of which is the auto-correct option. So it became a matter of right-click, copy the address, open Gmail, press C for Compose, paste the address and then move my cursor to either Subject or Body, and only then could I start the actual email. Half of the time I would have then forgotten the whole purpose of my email! I'm so grateful for your decision not only to recreate this extension but also to go thru the extra work and cost of making it a true MacOS extension. $0.99 is a small price to pay for the satisfaction I get every time I click on a mail:to link now. THANK YOU!
Worth Every Penny
I use the Vivaldi browser. I tried three different extensions for mail-to from the Chrome store. None of them worked!
I thought I was going to have to use a Mac app for email instead of Gmail in my browser.
Thank you so much for developing this app! It works seamlessly and is invaluable. 99¢ is a small price to pay for an app that's so helpful.
This app does one thing, and it does it very well. If you use Chrome or Edge or Firefox as a default browser, you can set a handler for mailto: links for your web mail of choice. If you want to use Safari, you're stuck with using the default email application set on your Mac. This little app fixes this limitation very nicely. Highly recommended.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
