Must Have for Recovery

I chose this app because it was free! To my astonishment, it is the best tool I have ever used. I started my steps again having been through them before both in AA and OA, while I’ve been in other 12 step programs, these two emphasized doing the steps for recovery. The thoroughness of Kai in working the steps has me seeking deeper into my recovery process than ever before. I also find the 10th step daily inventory of special help the way it has been put together. I have not yet explored the sharing process within the app, but plan to expand into using it. Thanks.

Force multiplier for recovery

I was pretty skeptical that an app could supplement a regimen of in connection for recovery. In fact does not replace, but rather enhance what I get out of phone calls and meetings. I can now do step work and review all aspects of my recovery between meetings and between phone calls. I also can supplement step work at any time.

One of the best tools for me and my sponsor is the accountability feature for daily sobriety tasks. Instead of messaging him separately, I can just use the app consistently to supplement our calls and meetings.

Super helpful!

I was skeptical about the ability of an app to keep me on the straight and narrow, especially after so many failed attempts… but I’ve been really surprised at how helpful it’s been at keeping me committed and accountable. I also love the fact that, despite the name, it doesn’t just offer the 12-step approach, which is not for everyone (including me). There’s also CBT and MAT stuff, and you can experiment with different kinds of treatment or combine them based on what works for you.
