OPM DC Status 4+

Successfully communicates operating status daily, whether you want it to or not! I have my settings configured to NOT provide a nightly alert and it does anyway. I also have the individual alerts sets to NOT alert me if status is OPEN. Yet every night a get an alert that it's open the next day. Assuming that most people are primarily interested in closures for weather or other reasons, you should probably make the settings work so that you can actually only be notified of closures.

I have patiently waited until an inclement weather day to see if I would get an alert. Today is the day! January 6, 2025. Snowed all night. Forecast for continued snow all day. Federal Government CLOSED. This is exactly the reason why I have this app. Yet NO notifications. I have updated the app, checked all my settings. Nothing. And this is a large storm where updates regarding closures and delays are crucial over the next couple days. Additionally, January 9 was declared a federal holiday, date of morning for President Jimmy Carter. Will I get a notification for that??

I can easily check status online. The whole purpose of the app for me is to receive notifications, which used to occur seamlessly. Please do better, OPM. Please fix the app, so that notifications work properly. If there is something that all these reviewers are doing wrong with regard to notifications, please add a tutorial page to walk us through the process to get notifications.

This app does everything you would hope it would do. The data is accurate and is updated at the same time as the website.

However, work needs to be done to correct the notification settings. I’m using the current version and the list of available notifications I can receive is duplicated. I’ve turned off “Open” in three different places, but still the notifications come. It got to the point that I just turned off app notifications all together.
