It’s awesome. I have been with Oportun for so long that it was called Digit when I joined and I never looked back. This app helps me to save money without thinking. A few dollars here, a few dollars there (based on your spending habits) moved from your primary bank account, and it adds up. The funds are just there, quietly accumulating. It’s a relief knowing that I have a cushion in times of financial struggle. I highly recommend it if you have trouble saving for a rainy day.

I have had this for years, would and will recommend this because I trust the way they operate even though their is rocket money this app is made for saving for your goals or saving on the side, it literally takes a few dollars for each goal each day and by the time you hit next month your like “ W T F!! I have this much money saved?!,!” Also just a note might have found a big issue glitch that needs to be addressed asapWhen you permanently delete a goal with money, the money disappears

This app truly makes building a savings so easy and painless. I barely notice the money leaving my account and LOVE opening the app and seeing how much has already been saved. It’s also SUPER convenient and easy to transfer the money. For the ADHD brain, keep the savings out of sight and not in your regular banking app, makes it that much easier to kind of forget about it and let it build. It’s less tempting to spend it lol.

I do not do reviews but this app has helped me so much money! I love it!! The only thing I wish I could do is open another account for my joint account that I have with my significant other. I have not gotten along with them. I only use the portion of the app that helps me save money without me having to think about it. I’ve looked at other money, saving apps, and nothing compares to this one.

I never write reviews so the fact that I’m writing one now should be pretty telling. I downloaded this app in 2018 back when it was called digit. I’ve been able to actually have a decent savings for the first time in my life. I’ve paid off all my student loans, invested, and watched my money grow in that time. I’ve never once regretted downloading. Well worth it!

I don’t have to think about it, and it makes it very easy to put away a little money ! I’ve used it for years to stash my rent and bills away from my account so I KNOW it’s there and the money I have is to spend on what I want with my expenses already set aside. It just rounds up so it’s never a noticeable amount but it really adds up, I highly recommend it

I am over 50 years old I have never been able to save a penny, I literally live paycheque to pay check, with Digit I actually have a savings account! I am so happy and I don’t even notice because I don’t see the balance all the time so I don’t think of it as a place I need to go to to take the money out to pay bills! Thank you digit!

Update: Moving money between goals is now possible. Just wanted to update this review.The only thing I would like to have added is the possibility to move money within the app without having to transfer to my bank and back again. Add that and I might come back to give it five stars.

This app is great, it’s such a helpful and easy way to save money! It’s perfect for people that have a hard time saving, it just does its thing in the background. The only annoying thing is having to fully log in every time I want to access the app. No matter how many times I click remember me or to use facial rec, it never works. I really wish they would fix that.

This app is great. I recommend it almost anyone I hear who has trouble saving money. It automatically saves for you as you spend your money as usual. Before you know it, you’ll have lots of money saved. Only downfall is the fee to transfer money back to your bank account instantly, but if u in a bind and need money transferred back immediately you can get it!
