App Doesn’t Work Properly

Yesterday I had the Oracle Colorshift headlights with Halos installed on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU, as well as the Fog Lights with Halo’s. Everything seems to work on the app except the color wheel. Once I touch the color wheel my halo lights turn white no matter what color I try to select. This is one of the big reasons I chose the Colorshift option. I hope there is a simple fix for this issue. I hope to hear from the app developers for assistance.

I was contacted by Oracle, which I appreciated, to help me resolve my issues with this app. They suggested I be sure I was running the latest IOS version as well as having the latest version of this app. I was one update down with IOS so I updated. I also deleted the Colorshift app and reloaded it even though I had only downloaded 3-4 days before. It was the same version. In short none of this made any difference. Colorshift still did not work properly. Then they suggested I try another all named ‘Happy Light’. This app actually works! It even syncs with the music on my iPhone which Colorshift would not do either.
Hopefully Oracle will add Happy Light as a suggested app on their packaging. And maybe scrap Colorshift altogether. In my opinion, I would not waste any time trying Colorshift.

Oracle Multicolor LED & Halo Lighting

Have been using the Multi color Halo and LED since late June 2021. Overall pleased with it despite some quirky behavior. (1) the halo “white” is really more of a cyan color; but could be due to the multi color options where the color “white” is skewed? (2) the Fade capabilities and adjustable fade timing is a nice feature, but sometimes has a mind of its own; and definitely not something you want to use while driving due to different state laws (here in FL your not permitted to use the colors BLUE nor RED, and LEO’s frown on the use of anything else but WHITE)
(3) recently Apple released a new iOS version (14.7.1) on Sat. July 30, 3021 in which has caused a glitch with my Oracle halo lighting as the App has yet to be updated to work with the new iOS version as of this writing on Aug 2, 2021. It seems I am unable to make a halo color selection on the App’s color palette as it’s stuck on only proving a single Fade color that flashes rapidly, and even then, unable to adjust the fade scale for a longer halo fade.
I can only hope that the Oracle Lighting developer’s can update their App to accommodate the latest iOS version update; and that this doesn’t become an ongoing issue with further delays. Having left this data software vertical in the healthcare space I am aware these things don’t happen overnight

Agree with other reviewers…

Lights are beautiful … but, the app needs work. As one reviewer said, there is no way to know, while in your vehicle, if what you’ve selected is what’s going on.

Also, there needs to be a way to program the lights so that they start out clear. As one person said, some states do not allow Colorshift while you are driving. There should be a switch so that you can always run clear on the start (or a programmable button that make clear, or whatever color someone wants, upon start-up. Ideally, every time I jump in my Jeep, i should not have to be on the app adjusting the lights…

If these items are fixed, I will give 5 stars! If I’m missing something, I’m happy to be educated… thank you!
