Orangepill App - Bitcoin Ratings and Reviews

For years, I was the only Bitcoiner I knew. I tried to tell family and friends about bitcoin, but they all thought I was involved in a scam or a cult. I needed some legit bitcoin people in my life, people who knew what I knew and could speak on it thoughtfully. I found them on this app, which connects you to Bitcoiners and meetups in your area. The weekend of the last halving, I went to two different celebration meetups that I learned about on this app, and I met a bunch of cool, interesting, and intelligent people I never would have known without this app. And in so doing, I gained perspective on the bitcoin community’s vitality and culture. This app empowers Bitcoiners by bringing them together socially and intellectually, and I highly recommend it, because we all must make our own Bitcoin journey, but none of us need make it alone.

I traveled across the USA several years ago visiting Bitcoin meetups and I wish I had Orange Pill App back then. The ability to find Bitcoiners in different cities and connect with them is huge. It’s completely changing the way I travel.

Before I go to Airbnb or Booking I am going on OPA to message a few Bitcoiners, get their recommendations and see if there’s places I can stay or eat that take sats. Also a great way to find locals to hang out with in a city, which is always the best way to travel in any foreign place.

Love this app, and it keeps getting better and better!

So, I take issue with the fee for this app.
It’s $5 a month, $40/year, $100 forever membership. I probably wouldn’t have issue with this if when you sign up it would allow you to see how many other people in your area have the app with an active membership. This is like a gym charging you a membership fee but you can’t see what equipment they have. I don’t care if I can’t message them until I have a subscription- at least I’ll know if it’s with my money to start a membership. And let’s be honest- I also don’t care if they downloaded the app 2 years ago and haven’t logged on since, I want to know about active members. But asking $5 just to “check” if there are other Bitcoin people around me, only to find out there are none, or that the nearest people listed are from a stale database and they aren’t even actively subscribed to the app anymore is useless. I’d rather use NOSTR or X if I want to talk to Bitcoin people.

The mining seminar I attended a couple years ago was fun. I socialized for a bit afterwards & that was nice. I went to Bitcoin 2022 in Miami. That was AWESOME! Prior to downloading OPA though, I'd not yet attended a local Bitcoin meetup.
After downloading OPA, I reached out to some people, made some connections, learned about a meetup, attended, & had a great time! I really enjoyed being surrounded by people I could talk to for hours. It's a reunion of happy stranger-friends.

The OPA is THE virtual nexus for meeting and connecting with Bitcoiners. I’ve been able to connect with all types of people whether you’re new, old, young, distinguished and well known, or just learning, this is the place to find it.

And to make things even more tight knit, you may even get to chat with some influential Bitcoiners in the space.

So far, I’ve been delighted with my experience using the app. I came here to network with likeminded individuals, and that’s exactly what it has delivered. 10/10 would recommend.

A Close friend of mine recommended this app to me to connect with fellow Bitcoiners. I have since connected with people in my area and that I have met at the national convention in Miami. I really like how this app also let you know about upcoming events that I would like to attend both locally and internationally. It also lets me discover partners that I can use in the Bitcoin community. I would highly recommend this app for anyone looking to grow their net work with some of the best Bitcoiners in the space.

Most people stay to themselves because they don’t know that there are sat stackers around them and you start to feel like your in your own echo chamber. Learning that there are others around you in your area by using this app is a relief and lets you conversate, find the local meetup spots, and find out what venders others use that except btc. I am also able to watch the circular economy grow over time. And it has. Thank you Orange Pill App for making this possible.

I paid for the lifetime membership. No regrets. It can be very challenging to meet bitcoiners but this app makes it very easy. The app is expanding in different ways since I joined, too. For people new to Bitcoin, this could be a great way to speed up your knowledge base from bitcoiners who have experienced all the FUD and fiat price fluctuations and can ground you on the fundamentals. Highly recommend you take the leap and meet like minded people who share the values of Bitcoin. IYKYK.

It’s awesome having one of the founders reaching out to see what you think and having an open line of communication. Once this app blows up I’m sure they won't be able to communicate as efficiently but if this is a sign of their customer service standards, then I am excited. It’s also nice not getting spammed with ads. Spending $2.99 a month is nothing. Just skip your $5 daily coffee or be more effective and make your own so you can stack more sats.

We love Bitcoin and we love this app. Through this app we were able to connect with a local meetup in our pretty small city and through this meetup my wife and I were able to meet another couple around our age with kids around our kid’s age who do a community bonfire about 5 min from our house which we are now attending. Thank you to the creators of the app and thanks to the bitcoiners for emphasizing community!
