Editors’ Choice

Deadly hazards crowd the walls. Enemies spin and charge and chase you, forcing you to quickly react and adapt. Collectibles and secret areas tempt you to explore. Every curve and corner of Ordia’s levels feels carefully crafted to balance tension, surprise, and joy. Overcoming those challenges takes precision, patience, and practice, making even the smallest successes feel hugely rewarding.

Oh my gosh

I’ve been searching everywhere, this was awesome! So, I’ve been searching around a bit because I had small memories of looking at this game before. Turns out, it was this game, Ordia, and at first it seems it should not have been four dollars. But looking back on the sound design, music, graphics, gameplay, and little stuff like ords, hard mode, timers, bonus levels, and lots of polish, this game is worth MORE than 4 dollars. Oh, and it has 6+ features wich is what I want for every game I buy. Marketing is phenomenal, too. Before I found it, the reason why I wanted to look was because of the memorable graphics and music. I couldn’t remember the gameplay (I’m not saying it’s not memorable). Overall, after finishing the game, it was a blast! Just everything about it and the sheer amount of aliveness it contained will be held in my heart forever. One problem tho. I wish you could at least add 2 more worlds, or like a dlc, sequel, or second chapter, or maybe a few free content packs. I’ll make an update when I 100% (do hard mode, finish all bonuses, etc.) it and give even more feedback, k? Until next time, seeya! Loved it!

I like the game, but…

The game can be fun, I like the game, but when you come across a particularly challenging obstacle, the game will set back to navigate the same obstacles over and over again simply to reach the obstacle that you are having a problem with. Soon, the game is no longer a fun challenge, but rather an annoyingly frustrating experience that you just want to be over with. The developers should have put in save points just before the particularly challenging obstacles and learn that their is a huge difference between challenges that keep a player interested and set up where the player just experiences constant frustration that leads to disappointment and apathy. Additionally, the physics of the game (how you expect your character react when interacting with the environment) seem to change without any indication that the environment or an object within the environment has become different or that it is in fact a different type of object even though it is acting very differently than you learned to expect from previous encounters. For example, their are often sudden currents in the liquid environment the character swims through without any indication that there is a current or why a current would be present in that particular situation except to make things more difficult for the player. In other words, there is no logic to the game world, only convenience. It’s like that because it is; deal with it.
