the app continuously asks for a costly purchase update. id like to try this app for a bit before spending cash to buy. How can i be sure if it will work for me. There is not an import button if i want to add a pic or design. Text dosent seem to be a problem. id like to see a preview button also before sending it to print??

While I struggled a couple of hours to learn this app, more trial by error than was explained in the manual, I discovered that this uses my Apple Contacts app to draw from. By using the Apple Contacts app to create a "Smart Group" (File/New Smart Group) and designating an identifier of "Xmas Card" where it shows "Card/Contains", and then adding the "Xmas Card" identifier in the notes section of my contacts whom I want to receive them, I can quickly print labels for those as they make up the "Smart Group" that is seen when I want to print out my labels. Choose the "Print Multiple" icon or you get a full page of one label.

While it actually does what it describes a lot of time and effort is needed to find workarounds for its primitive tools to get a decent looking product from it. Documentation is abysmal. There is no manual; only so called ‘Tutorials’ which are really usage tips. No FAQ’s Learning to use this product is a mostly ‘trial & error’ process. Support is e-mail only. By combining and grouping objects and taking advandage of their individual features decent designs are possible but can be frustrating and time consuming to do. It as no import capability. Images and other objects can be added by ‘drag & drop’. No provision for saving your own templates in most of the project types. Once you master the product and learn its ‘tricks’ it seems like you can turn out some items rather quickly. The few included templates are also very primitive. Selecting labels or cards cannot be done by selecting an Avery number. Only selection options for labels or cards are generic templates. However Avery product numbers are indicated as a run together paragraph when a label template is selected. Not so for business cards. No help within the program on a link to the website described above. It does not support mail merge or minilabels. It can access Apple Contacts.Frankly I would not ever consider this product of there was a competitor that had the versitility that this product potentially offers at a reasonable price point. But then so far I have not been able to find one. According to the developer it is on sale right now for 60% off as of this writing. I paid $10 for the full version and I don’t feel it is worth much more. While you can’t tell it from working with it, the free version watermarks each printing making the free version vertially useless for anytning but evaluation. I regard it as good value at $10 for specialized purposes but that is about it.Since I wrote this the price has gone up dramatically. In order to fully unlock the product it now costs $100. I find this price extremly expensive for a what is fundimentally a label and card program. That is why I have lowered my rating.

I'm trying to print labels but the application FREEZES! And, yes, I'm using the print button in the app. I've written to the developer have not heard back. # years without an update???
