Constructive concern
I only have one concern with online banking. Why does it take 2 days and longer over holidays to process payments. I have had a bank with similar program and all payments processed the next day. Even a Friday to Saturday. Also never had a payee that didn’t go electronically. Never waited 5 days for the bank to issue a check. I find myself having to direct to the payees website for pay. Just another step that takes time to do and added record keeping. Other than that I find your personnel always helpful, respectful and friendly. They always answer questions.

This app, might just be for me, but it’s extremely buggy and glitchy. Every time i log in the app says I need to register my device; I look at my bank several times a day, and it’s problematic when I need to keep registering my device, ironically it doesn’t always work. What I mean, is when I go to the page to register my device, if I go back to the login page it’ll take me to the register device page again, but if I go back to the login AGAIN it’ll just let me through, but that also means I have to put my information in several times before I can actually access my account. Not to mention this app does not have a lot of features the web page does, which is understandable but there are certain things I’d like to do on my phone, that I should not only have access to via PC. It’s an okay app for just seeing your current balance, but this app lacks a lot of basic banking functionality features.

This new Orrstown app is of less value to me. You cannot simply click to get a notification for deposits. Any type of alert to set up is extremely tedious and non-functionable. I have to set an individual alert for each account for any type of deposit (or whatever I’m tracking) and I will continue to get an email (or whatever type of alert I set up) every single day about the same alert. It is clogging up my emails. I have already called Customer Service about this. Please take note of the old app and change notifications back. Please just create a simple toggle to switch on notifications for deposits or whatever someone is looking for, for a one time notification, not daily. In the old app, I would receive an email and get a push notification with badge icon, with the deposit amount so I would know when to write this in my checkbook. I no longer have this simple convenience.

Not to_undervalue the level of convenience this has added to my life. As far as that goes, this app is wonderful.It does concern me that when I open the app often times it will open to the place where I was last in the app, before prompting me for my password. During that time, I can see my account information and the last four digits of all my accounts. I’m pretty sure I could screenshot that before it goes to the password request.I also have noticed that taking photos of my mobile deposit checks gets kind of glitchy at times. Canceling the photos I’ve taken, or not gearing up the camera.The most concerning thing for me is this new thing that happens when I mobile deposit my checks. After I make the deposit, it off and tells me there is some sort of error, and I am asked if I want to continue or not. I called about it. I was told it is a new thing that they are working on and shouldn’t be of any concern to me. But I don’t know when it would be not a concern to me When I am getting a message saying my money might not go into my account. I don’t know too many people that wouldn’t worry when that kind of announcement is made.
