We're excited to introduce our new calendar app that makes fasting periods easy to understand in English. This app not only shows when fasting happens but also gives quick explanations and teaches you about related holidays. Our goal is to break down the language barrier in our faith.

But that's not all. We want to help you be prepared. The app will send you reminders before fasting periods start, so you can get ready. Our aim is to make fasting more accessible and help you connect with your faith, no matter your level of experience.

Hey everyone, here’s a UI update to the Orthodox Tewahedo Calendar app, it should now be easier to view upcoming events without scrolling through the calendar. You can swap between the old and new style by pressing the icon in the top left. Also, we will have notifications set to remind you of fasts beforehand so make sure to enable them within your settings. Hopefully you enjoy, thanks.

Great app

I absolutely love this app, it’s very useful for Orthodox Christians. I have been recommending it to my family members! One suggestion I have and that I would like to see in the future would be to include holidays/important days in the month such as Maryam, Kidus Gebriel, Kidus Michael, etc…
