Description

The “Osage Books” app is a location for published works of the Osage Nation featuring the initial story, “Coyote and the Bear.” The app aims to further the goal of protecting and promoting the language, culture, and traditional ways of the Osage people utilizing technology which increases the educational outreach and distance learning opportunities of our constituents. Any Osage books that have an Augmented Reality option can be scanned with this app for a more immersive reading experience.

What’s New

Version 3.0

The latest release adds the stories Devouring Mountain and Corn and Squash to the library, expanding the Osage Books collection. Augmented reality features have been optimized with improved tracking accuracy and overall performance, delivering a smoother and more immersive interaction. The user interface has been refined for enhanced usability and streamlined navigation. Additionally, a new video playback option has been integrated, allowing users to view traditional video versions of each story directly within the app.
