Great local app
Great pivot in development to allow us to see what stores have what we are looking for.
Can you separate hand soap and hand sanitizer please? And allow easier flow if submitting multiple items at one location? A bit clunky and time consuming to submit each item.
Overall an invaluable free resource for the metro area in this time of need. Thank you!

Hey there W in bham, we've released several updates since you left this review, so we hope you'll give the app another shot. Specifically, based on your feedback we've split soap and sanitizer and added wipes and paper towels.
We made an update to group multiple items for a single store as well with a further user experience improvement coming this week that will allow you to select the inventory for all items in a store on one screen!
Location limits restrict usefulness
I rated the app 2 stars because I think this is a really great idea... however, I am finding it pretty useless due to its restrictions. I am not sure if the restriction affecting my results is location-based or if programming limits the display of stores around me to a specific quantity. All I know is that the stores that I would have the best chance at locating high-demand products are all within 5-20 miles away from my home and I am unable to see any of them. I can’t even see my local grocery store which is about 4 miles from me. I have not tested whether the location in the app would change as my physical location changes, but ideally, during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the best use of this app would be to enable users to plan where they need to go before they leave their house... especially for those who live in more rural areas. Impossible to do that with the current restrictions.

Hey Smp25304, a quick update.
We recently updated the app to allow you to change you location and see what reports are coming in from other areas. We've seen a large uptick in reporting, so there may be more reports in your area.
Remember, OurStreets is a community-driven platform, so we encourage you to be the first in your neighborhood to report what's in stock and spread the word!
We hope you'll give OurStreets another shot and that you'll share what you found during your next essential shopping trip. Thanks!
Saved me time and money!! Accurate!!
So glad I saw this app on the news. I’ve placed several orders on Instacart (which I will still use) however the stores I selected NEVER had toilet paper or paper towels!! Once I downloaded this app I saw that there were several stores (just not the ones I was choosing lol) that had toilet paper. I needed to get out for some exercise anyway, so I decided walk to the store and test it out. I was so happy to see my closest full service grocery actually had toilet paper and paper towels.. Although I will continue to use delivery... I saved a good $15-$20 tip while working up a sweat!! QUARANTINE WIN FOR THAT AH!! 😜

Glad OurStreets was useful for you and you got that TP! 🧻 Be sure to help your neighbors out by sharing what's in stock as well the next time you feel the need to work up that sweat and take an essential shopping trip!
