Overland tracks your location and sends your data to a server of your choosing. The app will save data while you're offline, and send it to the server later in batches.

Highly configurable tracking settings for optimal control. Choose between getting highly detailed track logs (and using tons of battery in the process), or tracking only significant movements allowing you to conserve battery life.

Track bike rides, runs, walks, car trips, train trips and more.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Game changer

Been using this since 2019 with an AWS Lamda function I wrote. It’s been so cool to review my life and analyze the 20m+ datapoints.

Thanks for making such a cool project, Aaron, and for making it freely available and open source!

Fantastic App, Excited for Future Improvement

Love this app, finally a way to have my own timeline free of Google!

A couple humble suggestions, I don't have my server publicly accessible when I'm not on my home network, it would be great if batch uploads could be held until it was reconnected, similar to how your home network will set your location to specific coordinates.

Also, even though I've given it all the permissions, it periodically gives the"location tracking stopped, open app to restart" even though I have all pausing off.

One of the best apps ever

This app is amazing. Wish it got more love from users.
