Overloud TH-U for iOS runs the same DSP full processing of the Desktop version for an unprecedented simulation quality.

The AUv3 included format allows you to process your DAW guitar tracks with the full power of the TH-U audio engine.

You can share presets with the Desktop version using the most common cloud services, like iCloud, Dropbox or Google Drive.

Overloud TH-U is stage ready: you can fully control it using any MIDI pedalboard and play with no gaps thanks to the seamless preset change feature.

Overloud TH-U can process your guitar sound while the device is playing a backing track through your preferred App (Music, Youtube, Anytune, …).

Overloud TH-U has a flexible sound chain: you can add any number of effects, change their order with no limitations, and set up parallel chains of effects.

With the Amp Tweak feature, you can customize the amplifiers by changing the preamp and power amp tubes, and simulate the action of a Variac.

The ReSPiRe 2 technology allows you to choose between the real response of the cabinet and a processed version optimized to fit into a mix and avoid frequency overlap with other instruments.

Sounds great! Waiting for the next update

I have the desktop version and this app doesn’t disappoint. It sound very much like the desktop version. I’m using an Audient Evo 4 interface with the iPad. I have many of the other popular guitar amp and effects apps and plugins and this is one of the best sounding to me. I would love to give it Five stars, just waiting for improvements in the updates. They said AUv3 is coming soon so I won’t complain about not having it yet. I don’t like the lack of input settings. It seems to do all the input settings automatically, even choosing the audio interface channel? I’m prone to try to turn knobs like on all the other guitar apps, but the knobs are nonfunctional. I find it tedious to have to click on an amp or effect to access it and then use the row of sliders. This slows down trying to make quick adjustments. At least the power buttons work on the effects so I can quickly turn things on and off without going into the menu. Being able to use the same rigs in the rig loader as on the desktop is amazing! This is the best part about the app. I would like to be able to set the sample rate block size. There is no indication that I am at 128, 64, or 32 samples. I can only assume it’s probably 128, or maybe 64. Hoping for many of the other little things to get worked then I would rate this app 5 stars.

Almost there

The update to turn this into a AUV3 plugin is awesome. Thanks guys. This was very mich needed!

The Cabinet IR loader is still greyed out. Really hoping this unit will become available.

And it would still be nice and MUCH more intuitive if we can actually turn the knobs on each device in edit mode instead (or in addition to) the slider menu. I see you already make the on/off switches work, so why not finish the rest of the interface and make it fully adjustable?
iOS uses touchscreen devices so it makes little sense that these knobs are not directly tweakable on screen. The sliders are useful for detailed dialing in, but turning the knobs like we are used to in any other amp sim of effect on iOS is just much more desirable and intuitive. This is still a bit of a deal breaker to me. Add that and we are in full business! 😎

Otherwise very nice sounding models. Keep the updates and improvements coming please. You guys are getting closer to perfection and beating the competition soon with a few more changes to the UI. Thanks!

Not working on iPad Pro

Much as I love TH-U on the PC this is not working at all. I’m using it with my AXE I/O and all I get is the unprocessed sound. GE Labs works fine so I’m not sure what the issue is. I hope they get it worked out soon I’ve been waiting on this for months since it was hinted back during winter NAMM. I’ll report back if they get it working. Under Global information everything looks correct and the tuner even works, so I’m not sure why it won’t process the sounds.

Update, the great support team has resolved all
The issues I was having and it’s working fantastic now. Thank you Overloud!
