A Oway ride is one that is Safe, Certain and Fast, the 3 key pillars that we focus on.

App features include live tracking, receive information of your driver’s details, strict driver selection and screening processes and receive booking confirmation within a minute.
1. Download the app for free.
2. Register your name and number. This is a one-time registration.
3. The app auto detects your location and sets it in the Pick-up field.
4. Select your Drop-off destination.
5. Tap "Confirm Booking". You’ll know the status of your booking within a minute.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Usage of Background mode location Updating:

1. We need to update driver current location to our server for checking driver availability on particular place.
2. Update your location to Driver to reach your place to pickup the passenger.

Getting worse every update and drivers giving excuse to cancel

As the app got update to the new interface whenever the driver accept everytime I need to restart the app. Most driver are never on the same location they provided and they would call to cancel the ride from my side cause they are too far and most of them would give excuse like they “accidentally” accept the ride. I request the Oway to have better drivers who know how to use the app so they don’t “accidentally” accept and know how to use the google map.

Cheaper than Grab, but useless

I really wanted to like this app, but after using it for about 1 year, I can safely say that the cheaper-than-GrabTaxi prices are a mirage, because no matter how many times I book a taxi from multiple busy locations in Yangon, I can never get a driver. Places like Myanmar Plaza and Hleidan Center should be easy locations at which to find an Oway driver, but nope...not a chance in hell.
