Move to your favorite songs with a music player that lets you choose from curated music stations. Customize your workout by selecting your favorite station as default and skip up to six songs per hour. Adjust both the volume of the music and the trainer’s voice for your optimal class experience. US-based members can choose from Pop, Hip Hop, Electronic, Throwback and Chill stations and all international members can access the Indie station. Indie for all members internationally.

Amazing workout, clunky app

I love P.volve and have been using it as my exclusive form of exercise for about 5 months, however I am finding the latest app update very difficult to navigate. To start with, the interface does not rotate horizontally during exercise selection, but only during streaming videos, making it very difficult to use on my iPad with the magic keyboard, which is the main device I have been using for streaming. The old app allowed for easy access to a variety of different programs, organized by difficulty level, this one limits to only a few choices. It’s tougher to search workouts by focus and difficulty level as well. The old app also selected a variety of exercises as part of personalized “programs”, which became longer and more intense with time, now it seems to just show workouts from programs you have enrolled in and does not suggest videos from the library, which does not really offer much variety. Overall, it’s usable, but wish the interface was friendlier and easier to customize.

Hey there! Thank you for this thoughtful feedback, you bring up some really great points. Our app when used on iPads definitely has considerable room for improvement right now, and it's an area we'll be scheduling some important updates on — so stay tuned.

We did receive feedback similar to yours about workout levels, and we're happy to share that these are now back in the app and on our streaming website. You can now head to Workout Library > Filters to sort by difficulty level. In addition to that, we recommend joining a workout series, a feature that will add those videos to your 'My Plan' section + to your calendar, and can help keep you on track with your workouts.

Love new UX changes but still glitchy

The new UX changes to this app make workouts easier to find and save for later. Everything is just a lot clearer and easy to navigate. The one thing I’d mention is that the automatic logging of workouts doesn’t work consistently. I did a workout yesterday from start to finish and the check mark at the top says I didn’t workout yesterday. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal bc I’m not obsessed with tracking myself, but the issue is that I’m doing the Summit Series. So the app is suggesting I re-do the same video (as if it’s Groundhog Day) and I can’t seem to manually log a workout or otherwise trick the system into registering the workout. Not sure how much longer this glitch will persist, but pretty soon the suggested “workout of the day” section will no longer serve as a helpful feature. At first it seemed like the day of the week feature would be super motivating and useful, but at least for now it’s just kind of a disappointment...

Hi Taila, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us on this. We've been made aware of some technical issues with the tracking of your workouts, particularly if it's a workout in a series you've joined.

New versions of our app will address this in the near future, but as a tip in the meantime — if you complete a video and restart that workout, we recommend watching it all the way through so that your progress is not undone. We know this isn't ideal and we are hard at work on improvements, so keep an eye out for app updates coming soon.

LOVE the program, hate the user interface

After years of pain from back injuries and sciatica, P.volve has quickly become my solution for feeling strong and fit, without recurring injury. However, the user interface design is not intuitive or easy to navigate, both online and in the app. For instance, I’m doing the Summit 60 series and it is frustrating to have to scroll through the app to find the program and the scroll through all the days of workouts to find the one I need to do. Also, the video keeps freezing mid-workout, so I have to do it all over again (and again). Plus, the video icons are so tiny (especially the start/pause button, which is in the very corner of the screen, making it difficult to use...) and there should be a skip forward/backward 10-15 seconds option. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a redesign to make your site/app more user-friendly!!!
