It works as intended
Needs the option to add a name or nickname to each delivery. When you have multiple, and simultaneous, parcels the tracking number is not useful but a nickname like “computer parts” would make more sense.
This should be free
This should be free.
There is no option to name what you are tracking. You have to remember what each tracking number refers to.
You cannot add a tracking number in advance. If the app cannot detect it on the carrier’s site then you have to wait until the carrier knows. You are often told of the tracking number before the seller ships so why make the user wait. The label has been created, the carrier is simply waiting to receive the item.
You cannot delete an entry after it is added. This just pollutes the list and no indicators showing which ones have been delivered, which ones are in transit or which ones have not shipped.
The delivery date does not show. You have to go to the carrier’s site to see the delivery date.
You are better off to copy tracking links that sellers provide into a Notes document. You can name the links AND you can add them in advance AND you can delete them AND you can see what date to expect delivery.
You could also send the tracking number with a description to yourself as a text message and Messages will most likely be able to detect the carrier and take you to the site itself.
How the app currently functions is barely usable, and should be free. The purpose of tracking apps is to provide useful information in one place and not have the user get partial information then having to go to the carrier’s site to get the rest. Why bother then.
Not ready for prime time
I’ve had other parcel tracker apps and this one is,by far, the worst. You can’t make changes (for example -adding the name of what the shipment is) so if you’re tracking several things you have no way of knowing what is what (especially during this busy shipping season). The app also never updated. It would say that it was awaiting the package , but when I checked the actual site, it had moved through several different phases, and one had even arrived, yet still had that it was awaiting the package. Going back to my reliable app and deleting this ASAP!
