Matt from Pact called and discussed my situation with me. He sincerely apologized for the confusion and expressed his regret that my situation had been handled so poorly and assured me that everything would be resolved shortly.
True to his word, just over an hour later, he has reinstated my policy, moved my payment date back 30 days, and also tacked on a gift card for extra measure.
I’m thankful that Pact is a standup company, willing to accept responsibility and turn a negative into a positive.

I understand that you get what you pay for and when I initially signed up with Pact, I didn’t think cut rate insurance would be a problem. Then COVID19 happened and this company IS NOT implementing any programs or forms of assistance for those who are no longer employed. I was told I could pause my coverage (and still pay, but just less) or I could not pay and they would “help” me reestablish coverage once mine lapsed. That little $20 I saved by not going with a big name insurance company who are currently waiving premiums is proving to be a bigger mis take than nickel and diming myself was. (All I had to do was drink a few less energy drinks every month and I would have insurance). Valuable lesson, and once I’m employed again, I’m going with a company that runs TV commercials.
Quickest Insurance Purchase
Signing up for insurance has never been this easy. I didn’t time myself but I would say the signup process was less than 4 minutes. Pact really took the pain point of shopping for insurance and solved it.
I had the pleasure of working with Matt and he was able to answer some basic questions. I don’t know if that is standard for them to text you but I thought that was a fantastic personal touch.
I’ve obviously not had to file a claim or use roadside assistance and I hope I never have to so I can’t comment on that aspect. If I ever have to I will update my review.

Customer service is awesome - claims are terrible!
We have had Pact for over a year and filed our first claim in July 2020.... I had no issue with our insurance until the claim.
I was involved in a rear end and my car was totaled. It has been almost 4 months since the accident and it has been back and forth, with voicemails and no call backs. I have made a payment on a car I have not seen since July... it is frustrating continuously being tossed around with different answers daily.
I am giving three stars as the customer service folks are so polite and our rate is awesome! The claims are forward to another company (ACM) and they have been dragging their feet completing our claim. I should’ve just waited for the person at fault insurance to take over, I’m sure I wouldn’t be out almost $1200 making payments on a vehicle I no longer own.
