Description

This is how you and your kids can learn how to draw.
Select or take a picture. Then make a sketch of this photo on a paper. Use PainterTool to take a picture of the sketch and compare your sketch to the original photo. Use the comparison to improve your sketch. Take a new picture of the improved sketch, compare and improve until you are satisfied.

Since you can improve your sketch until the final drawing is good enough, each final drawing will be as close to the original photo as you want. As you get better at drawing, you can sketch for a longer time before comparing your sketch to the original photo. This practice will make you better at drawing what you see. Use photos of friends, from the Internet or from magazines.

PainterTool is also useful for painters, illustrators, designers and art students. Use PainterTool to get the proportions as exact as you want them to be. Then you can start creating your art in any style and material.

Cool idea

Needs some refinement, more intuitive interaction, and usability, but the principle is nice.
