Description

Pakistan Citizen Portal is an integrated citizens grievance redressal system connecting all government organizations both at federal and provincial levels. The system serves as carrier of complaints to their respective offices across all over Pakistan. Citizens are enabled to provide feedback once a complaint is marked resolved by an officer. The feedbacks are linked to an officer’s performance. The app provides a hassle free interface to citizens to connect with government at all levels.

Email verification does not work on main pop up

This is great step taken by the Pakistani government to provide a portal to it’s citizens. I am a Pakistani living abroad and cannot always go to a local government office to complain; therefore, this portal is very useful. So far, there are two problems with the iOS app that I have noticed: first, the email verification pop up on the main screen does not work. Each time I clicked on verify, the app closed. The work around was to go into menu and send verification from there. Second, the mobile number requires a fixed length of digits according to Pakistani mobile numbers and does not account for shorter mobile numbers from countries that use less than 10 digits. The workaround was to pad the end with zeros to help complete the registration. After registering, the app does not allow me to change my mobile 😕.

Good portal for speedy resolution.

But little bit problem here, which is that we submit our complaints, system forward our complaints to relevant person and the person have full rights to close our complaints or to drop it without our satisfaction, how the management will judge that the complaints which was submitted get resolved or not and the complainers are satisfied with the resolution or not. There should be a right reserved for users as well to reopen same complaints until get satisfactory answers or responses from the relevant organisations. Please think in this way and try to enhance the app for users like me. Many thanks for such a great app.

Complain Closure Option

Citizen portal is good initiative for citizen to highlight issues faced by them or complains. Need to give closure option to citizen for make sure end user got solution or his complain solved with some days to close it or keep it open if not solved otherwise it close by itself if concern department saying they solved it, because some time concern department is saying they solve the issue but end user not getting solution of his complain so it will be better to give complain closure option to citizen or at least give them re opening option of following complain instead for them to again launch new complain which increase again the same process of going from first person to last for solution. It will help a lot.
