Palliative Fast Facts for iOS is the official mobile version of the Fast Facts database, the de facto quick reference for palliative care providers.
This app works without an internet connection and is designed to be useful in a clinical setting. Convenience and customization are key--browse the Facts Facts database by search, chronology, or subject; share and bookmark articles that are particularly useful; adjust the text size, background, and font color.
The Palliative Fast Facts for iOS application was created by Haipeng (Mark) Zhang D.O. at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and David Liu (http://daviddl.com) at Brown University.

The Fast Facts database has long been a favorite resource of mine. This offline, searchable, and flexible application (including the thoughtful feature of instant customizable text-size adjustment) is a point-of-care godsend that benefits providers, patients, and families during critical and precious times.
Home hospice volunteer, nurse
As a nurse in a different area of practice my regular job, I volunteer in a support position in home hospice. This is a fantastic reference to have on my tablet. Has aided as a template for some self guided reading and study.
Simple smart pages such as “writing a letter of condolence” are very thoughtful.
