Description
Pandan is a time awareness tool, not a traditional time tracker or break reminder. It shows you how long you have been actively using your computer, to make you aware and let you decide when it's time to take a break. We all know how easy it is to get lost in an exciting task.
I have personally tried a lot of break reminder apps and I always ended up uninstalling them out of annoyance. Often, I was in the middle of an interesting task, and then suddenly a fullscreen notification popped up, telling me to take a break and interrupting my flow. Pandan is not like that.
Pandan automatically detects computer activity through mouse movements, keyboard presses, etc. After some inactivity, the timer will stop, and it will restart when you use your computer again.
Optionally, you can also get a gentle reminder at a chosen interval.
Pandan also comes with support for Shortcuts.
Use the feedback button in the app for support and feedback.

JUST A NICE LITTLE REMINDER
A little heartbeart comes on to the screen to remind you how long you've been on and disappears, I don't have to click it shut, like the reminder on mh iMac. Andit only counts *actual* keyboard time, and keeps track of what I want, or if I want to make it a single session (such as billable hourse, rather than watching cat videos) it' a snap to do so.
Just an unasuming little app that gives you useful information about your comuter use.
Simple and useful
I needed to track how much time I spent working on something for volunteer hours, and I didn't want anything too fancy. Pandan worked great and I'm really glad I got it. One small thing I wish it had is a way to see the total time tracked over a certain time period, instead of just seeing your history and having to manually add the time to see the total. Overall really neat app, though!
Nifty tool that's great for lightweight timer alerts
I use this for 20:20:20 alerts: it's recommended that you take a break from computer screen every 20min and look at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This helps maintain the health of your eyes, and is extremely important during the lockdown when a lot of people are WFH. I've tried a couple of other tools on Mac, and this one has been the best for my needs.
