# PRO FEATURES

Basic adjustments like text size are free in Paper. More advanced personalization can be purchased with Pro Features. You will not be buying anything blindly though. The trial period for Pro Features is untimed so you can take your time to decide if they are a worthy investment.

While trialing Pro Features you might occasionally see a popup. Just press Reset in the popup to get rid of it completely.

Pro Features is either a subscription or a one-time purchase. Both the subscription and the one-time purchase unlock Pro Features on all your iPhones and iPads that share the same Apple ID. This subscription (or one-time purchase) applies only to iPhones and iPads. Macs require a separate subscription (or one-time purchase).

The one-time purchase is hidden by default. To enable it go to the Settings app, scroll down, select Paper, and under Purchases toggle Show Lifetime Option.

In case you want to upgrade from a Monthly subscription to a Yearly one (or to a Lifetime license) go to Paper’s page in the App Store and press the rounded button with the price next to the Yearly subscription option (or next to the Lifetime in-app purchase).

## How do I share my document?

## Paper changes the font when I switch between alphabetic and non-alphabetic keyboards. How to prevent it?

· Change the keyboard to a non-alphabetic one (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc).
· Tap the "Settings" button in the top right corner.
· Under the "Font" submenu toggle "Keep for ABC Keyboards".

Dear User,

You now have even more granular control over Custom fonts with the ability to choose distinct fonts and letter spacings for Body, Bold, Heading, and Code.

In addition, a new Tints Markdown Syntax toggle has been added under Accent. It allows tinting the traditionally muted parts of the Markdown syntax while keeping the rest of the text untinted.

The old Tints Text toggle now tints only the actual text.

Shockingly generous <3

I’m having to move writing apps because of an update to my old one that completely changed the interface and got rid of the simple look. Finding this has been such a lifesaver, and it’s left me with my expectations blown away. You can really tell the creator just wants to make a tool like this available to people and although there is a paid option for it, you can complete function without it as it almost serves as a way to give back out of gratitude. The creator doesn’t demand anything.

I was joyfully surprised at the hidden trove of features this has, including export as html, which is typically only available through big expensive softwares or learning it yourself. This is a HUGE plus for me as an ao3 author, as that sadly does not support markdown and I’d have to manually reformat myself. You just saved so much of my time.

Love everything. Love that it’s all backed up in my files, that gives me a lot more confidence i won’t lose things. Love the markdown support and the themes and the personal option to reach out to the developer in app. I have yet to use this app for an extended amount of time but the evident love that was put into making it assures me a lot :)

Fun app!

I don't mind not having the type writing sounds, but they don't work on my end for some reason. The only real complaint I have otherwise is that I wish there were more fonts!

Onto why I gave it five stars? It’s a great app, fantastic in formatting, and extremely aesthetically pleasing (as well as entirely customizable)

The pro features, for me, were worth the purchase. I’m stuck with monthly until I save enough for the lifetime, but the fact that it lets you mess around with and test pro features instead of locking them behind a paywall (a reason I do not like a lot of apps. They don't let you try the features until you start a subscription or trial you may very well forget about, if it even gives yo a trial) is extremely nice. I was looking for an app that looks and feels sleek so I can sit and write, but I found this! Fully customizable. Gotta say, I like it a lot more than I thought I would. My complaints are minuscule. You don't even have to necessarily trust me on it: jump in and try it yourself. It lets you test every single feature it has.

Great app; just can’t afford the premium feature at $100.

I have tried more than 20 different plain text editors from the App Store and this is the best. I just need a plain text editor that can perform search and this does it very well. Many plain text editors don’t have a search function. One app that has the search function requires 3 clicks before you can start searching. Other text editors have fonts that are so tiny (which can’t be adjusted) that it really strains the eye to read my notes. I don’t have any use for most of the premium features since I just want a plain text editor with search function. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the 1.5 line spacing. If the default was single line spacing, this would be the perfect app for me. And I’m happy to pay a few dollars just for this function. Would Mihhail consider different pricing for different features? For example, a one-off purchase for plain text features such as font size, type and line spacing?
