A great tool working on your first draft

PaperEdit is a great way to start on your first draft. It won’t replace manual revision, but it offers insight to weak phrases, long sentences, passive voice, hyperbole, and other wording to clean up.

Great for blog articles, emails, and most types of fiction. Will help with the flow and structure of dialog.

Comes with a simple, but effective text editor. You can compose text in the editor, copy it from another app, or open a Scrivener project.

You can toggle highlighters so you can focus on single edits.

So far, PaperEdit has done a lot to showcase where writing can improve. Hopefully, the developer continues with updates and builds on the solid foundation this app offers.

Well worth the small investment.

Constant Crashes

I like this app more than Grammarly. I think it does a better job than Grammarly by providing me with different snapshots of how my writing looks and reads. I appreciate being able to locate words that I overuse.

Why three stars? If I click anything in the taskbar, it crashes. If I edit too many things before saving, it crashes.

Save your money until this app gets updated.

Crashes a lot

I'm a little bummed about this app. It can be an essential tool if it didn't continuously crash on me. Don't know If I'm comfortable using it as much.
