PaperEdit 4+

Please keep the updates coming. PaperEdit is a great tool for editing and revising. I use it for blog articles, emails to my manager, goals and review items, and anywhere I want clear text. Write or load up a document and see long sentences, prepositions, and clunky writing. PaperEdit works like the excellent, but not recently updated Hemingway Editor.

With so much moving to AI and Cloud, it's nice to have an app that works locally without the need for an Internet connection.

As I mentioned previously, PaperEdit is great for working on a first draft. It helps to streamline and focus your writing.

PaperEdit sits on a solid foundation, but I would love to see more development to make it a real replacement for Hemingway Editor. It would be nice to have more Preferences such as setting the magnification and default font. A user created list of words and phrases to avoid would be great. Multiple tabs instead of one document at a time.

Still, PaperEdit is a good product and I look forward to more updates and features.

I like this app more than Grammarly. I think it does a better job than Grammarly by providing me with different snapshots of how my writing looks and reads. I appreciate being able to locate words that I overuse.

Why three stars? If I click anything in the taskbar, it crashes. If I edit too many things before saving, it crashes.

Save your money until this app gets updated.

I'm a little bummed about this app. It can be an essential tool if it didn't continuously crash on me. Don't know If I'm comfortable using it as much.
