Paramount‪+‬ 12+

Ok sooo I originally just got the app for the trial and was gonna cancel it because I honestly just wanted to binge watch the new iCarly show, mind you I am now almost on my three month subcription. Now I haven’t had it for long but I do plan on keeping it for a very long time, the first time I noticed I was gonna like it was in the beginning when they let you click three shows out of all their selections and honestly just looking at their listings, allll the shows are all very good shows I’ve heard about and had been wanting to watch. So I already finished watched the new iCarly, absolutely loved it, right now I’m on the neighborhood and oh my gosh it is now def in my top 3 sitcoms 🥹need I say more, highly recommend it, and there’s sooo much more shows I’m so looking forward to watching like Reno 911 etc so I invite you guys to definitely try paramount+ bc it’s actually one of my fave streaming apps rn 🙌 only complaint I would have is that it has ads at the very end of some shows and so I’m like I’m not gonna watch a 2 minute ad to watch a 1 minute snippet of what’s left of the show but when I do I enjoy those little snippets so I’m just sad that I have to miss out on those

I like Paramount but the app is a little bit of a disappointment. I have an old iPad and the App Store will let me download an older version of the app but, when I try to play it, it forces me to download a new version, which the App Store will not let me do. So I am stuck in a loop. I have an older version of the app downloaded. It should just let me login and watch! It’s annoying that the Play Store will let me download an older version of the app but The app itself won’t let me do it! Also, they are now showing ads on a paid service! Ridiculous! Guess I’ll be giving up on TV viewing soon. People shouldn’t have to pay for shows and then be subjected to commercials. The whole point of the commercials is for the advertisers to pay for the show. It is the whole reason I had cable to begin with, to avoid commercials. try to watch a few of my favorite shows but they all had so many commercials I felt like I was watching old-fashioned free TV with a ton of commercials. Time to give up on TV. Paramount has some great shows and I have another enjoyed, especially, all the Star Trek offerings. However, In my opinion, Netflix still has the best app and still is commercial-free. I’ll stick to Netflix until they start having commercials and then I’ll go back to reading a lot. It’s time consumers start saying “no” to being constantly herded into paying more money for things you shouldn’t be charged for.

I’ve had this app/service over a year and I feel like it has not improved one bit. I don’t know how anyone can rate this app above 3 stars with all of its limitations and lack of offerings compared to its competitors. Casting is not good at all, it stops castings and makes you start over from the beginning of what your watching instead of picking up where it stopped. My other complaint is closed captions, I like to use that when watching tv and I have to turn it back on for every episodes, why can’t you remember my preferences. My biggest complaint is downloading, besides the fact that certain shows/movies are available for download and you aren’t allowed to leave the app while downloading and the fact that it takes almost 10 mins to download a episode 😒and the app can’t download more than one episode/movie at a time. It crashes/stops when you try to download more than one thing. SMH. Now to the reason I am writing the app, it took almost one pain staking hour to download shows/movies they were not there the next day when I went to watch them. Why I can’t see the movies I downloaded for offline viewing when I am offline. When I regained access to Wi-Fi I could see my offline shows. I would also like to point out the shows will leave if you don’t watch them, there is no renewing them, you have to complete the pain staking process of trying to download everything all over again.
