Raising kids with faith and character doesn’t have to be difficult. Parent Cue gives you four simple ways to connect with the heart of your child each week.
You already know a thing or two about life, character, faith, and what it takes to be the human you were created to be. If you’re like most parents, you want to pass on that knowledge to your kids whether they are three years old, seven, or seventeen.
But sometimes the day-to-day pace of parenting crowds out the intentional conversations we want to have with our kids. Where do we start? When do we find the time? How do we know if we’re being successful?
With Parent Cue, you never have to parent alone. Parent Cue is a team of family experts and everyday parents working together to provide the support you need so you can be the parent you want to be.
We developed the Parent Cue App to specifically help you raise kids in faith and character by strengthening the relational rhythm of your home, elevating important topics of conversation, and connecting you with local leaders who can support your family beyond this digital space.
To strengthen the relational rhythm of your home, Parent Cue App gives you four cues each week to help you connect with the heart of your child. Each cue is strategically designed for the age of the child you are raising and helps you develop family patterns that will enhance your long-term relationship with your child over time. .
To elevate important topics of conversation, the Parent Cue App gives you monthly topics on faith and character so you can incorporate big ideas into everyday life. To support each monthly idea, Parent Cue updates with weekly Bible story videos, memory verses, devotional experiences, and more based on the age of the child you are raising.
To connect you with local leaders, Parent Cue App partners with over 34,000 churches around the world. To find your church, or discover a church that partners with the Parent Cue strategy, use the simple “church finder” feature and sync your profile with a local ministry. Once you have associated with a church, you will receive all important updates, notifications, events, etc… from that ministry.
There are 936 weeks from the time a child is born until they turn 18 and move on to what’s next. These 936 weeks are unlike any other time in a person’s life. They lay the foundation of faith and character. They are the groundwork of establishing identity, belonging, and purpose.
Parent Cue helps every caregiver count the weeks, so you can make the weeks really count.

So this app is sooooo cool! There is so many amazing things about this app that it is very hard to just pinpoint one part of it! I have all of my kids and step kids in the app and it is a reminder for myself that I have so many weeks left with my kids before they are grownups! When I am at my ends wit and feel frustrated I am able to open up the app and it reminds me how blessed I am to have each kid and helps me understand where they are at emotionally mentally and gives me ideas for what I can do to be a better parent! Also for my younger kiddos it has videos that we’re able to watch together! And my kids absolutely love the one on one quality time even if the video is 5 to 7 minutes long it gives enough time for me to be able to give them that and learn with them, and go over scripture with them and pray with them... but it’s not too long to where it takes up all day if you have more than one kiddo! It gives me solid biblical direction- in my home our kids are ages 5-17 which is A LOT of different stages! I have emotional crazy teenagers that are challenging new things and ideas and wanting more freedom and independence and sometimes I’m stuck because of questions or behaviors but I seriously am able to find great ideas and understanding because the app designers really went out of there way to do the research to get every area!! I hope you enjoy as much as I have!!! Super amazing!!

I'm a family pastor and we are using the orange curriculum for birth through 5th grade. The app has had its ups and downs, but the latest fix does allow easy switching back and forth between preschool and elementary curriculum. The push notifications are a helpful reminder and my two older boys (5.5 and 3 years) love watching the weekly video with their dad. Most parents just need a creative reminder and a helpful suggestion throughout the week and I have found that using this app has been both helpful and convenient. My two suggestions would be for their to be a rolling 5 week curriculum instead of erasing the entire previous month at the beginning of the next month. There are times when it is the end of the month and I would like to go back over some of the content from the previous month and it is no longer available. My other suggestion would be to make the resolution of the videos (ipad) just a bit clearer somehow. They are good, but at times can become pixelated. Other than that, this IS a good resource for parents and I am encouraging all the parents of our kids to download and use the app. When used with the church curriculum this is a fun, creative, and convenient way to connect church and home! Thanks for what you do!
Sadly, this only breeds frustration.....

Oh, I SO wanted to love this app- I've been waiting a LONG time for the Preschool content. When I had the old app just on my iPod touch, it worked just fine. Then, the old app moved onto my iPhone and never sent the "push" notifications I really wanted. This "New", "Updated" version is even worse. No push notifications, and almost none of the content actually shows up. I chose the "Elementary" version because I have two kids in that age-range, but I also have a preschooler. I have TRIED to buy access to that content, but the "button" doesn't work. I press it and nothing happens- same for the monthly content. Although, I have to agree.......why are we now paying for what was free before? The idea that they are going to charge families monthly for the content sort of flies in the face of "we are here to partner with parents". I don't feel partnered with- I feel a bit taken advantage of. As a Children's Ministry Director- between the problems with the app and the fact that we now have to pay for monthly content, I am no longer going to recommend this app. It's really disappointing too, because this could have been SO good- such a perfect tool in the hands of parents. I REALLY hope they correct al these issues and try again. The only positive thing I have to say is that the new, more colorful design looks GREAT. Too bad there is no content to make it worth looking at.
Good Make it even better?

I really like the app and appreciate how it can help bring continuity between what I message as a parent and what they're hearing at church in their classes. The just for Parents section is cool, causing me to reflect on my approach and encouraging me to lead my kids in developing and displaying the virtue featured this month. Here are a couple of ideas that might make this app even more fruitful:- when in Podcast mode, please display total run time, a progress bar showing where the listener is in the content, some kind of title to the message/story (ever get interrupted?) and a link to web site that gives more information and context.- enable portrait mode for the app- provide a means by which to download or save messages to listen to again or bookmark them for future reference with a notes/comment field to create a "personal library" within the app. (kinda like highlighting and writing notes in your bible.)- Provide a means to "Share with a friend" by sending a link to whatever content in an e-mail along with a note/greeting/comment (imagine I come across something in my personal quiet time with this app and I want my wife to read/hear it with something in mind about how it landed for me or applies to one or more of our kids)- make it easy to post an excerpt or abstract or "the point" on Facebook along with the appropriate linkThanks for the great work so far in this app and for the help you are providing parents in raising godly kingdom centered kids!
