Description
Parent/caregiver education for parents of a premature or NICU baby.
Parents with, or expecting, a premature or special care baby benefit from by understanding the roles of the various professionals with whom they will come in contact, the terminology used by these professionals and the technology they may encounter in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) or Special Care Nurseries.
This app provides short videos and written and verbal explanations and pronunciations of terms. These “lessons” are excerpts from our extensive NICU Knowledge and Parent Education Series available at leading hospitals.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
In version 3.0 of the Parent Education app by MetaMD, the look and feel of the interface has been improved. The app storage methods have been redesigned to allow us to provide new content and change existing content.
