Parker's Rewards 4+

Great potential but……

The app in the beginning was Fantastic!!!!!! Love all the features…… However, as time went by the part of the app for trying to pay for gas coupled with trying to use the discount you get off gas from in store purchases worked sparingly. I spent a few times sitting at the Parkers pump just trying to get the app to work to get through the process so I can use my discount. I’ve had times where I couldn’t use the app at all and paid at the pump, therefore I didn’t get my discount. Also at the pump you can put in your Parker’s rewards number (your phone number) and you are supposed to get the rewards price for gas, which is some where between 5 & 10 cents. However, that doesn’t always work and I’m paying for the non member price of gas. It would be nice to fix the bug within the APP to allow for constant use to pay and receive the discount, as this is the only way to use your discount of gas. It would also be nice to fix the bug that allows for Parker’s rewards members to get the member discount off gas when putting in the number. And believe me, I know my number so I haven’t “fat fingered” the number at the pump.

I’m a penny pincher and I approve this app!

I love . . . no . . . LOVE! this app! Every time I stop in Parker’s, I use my phone number (because I can’t keep up with cards!). Somehow, when I stop in for a drink and/or a snack, magic gnomes convert my spending into savings off the price per gallon of gas. It adds up really fast! After a month of just regular stops, I am already up to saving .40 per gallon. Seeing as how it adds up so quickly, I’m going to see how quickly I can max out and save $1.00 per gallon. I know gas prices are rising, so I may not make it that far, but I’m loving giving it my best shot! I also thank Parker’s for the free XL fountain drink when I signed up! So many stores with so many apps! However, I do feel like this is one of the most beneficial, helpful apps I’ve ever seen! Highly recommended!

I really like this app but…..

This is a decent app and I really like the rewards program and such but what’s frustrating for me is what I’ve read from other users where you sit at the pump trying over and over in vain to use the rewards and it won’t load so you end up paying regular price for your gas. It counteracts the rewards benefits, doesn’t it? Then, I also don’t like having to use the last four of my social security number to register my debit card. Don’t you know how much more sensitive that information is? I don’t like it and want to add my debit card but I’m NOT going to share any part of my social, period! To save money on gas and other things? I don’t think so. I’d rather cancel it all and go elsewhere. Please change that requirement. In today’s world where so much theft and corruption are rampant I would hope you see the logic in this.

I'm sorry the enrollment process hasn't met your expectations. We request this information when a customer signs up for payment as a security feature. This verifies your identity as the checking account owner, and helps us collect payment in the event of a returned transaction. I understand if you are uncomfortable sharing this information. You can certainly use the Parker's Rewards card without payment. All members earn 10¢ off per gallon with every $25 you spent inside the store. You also receive exclusive pricing on fountain drinks, fresh food, and more. You do not need to add payment to enjoy these benefits.
