Couldn’t get my car because the app or the garage system failed. 11pm needed to take toddler home. Loss time trying to get help to no avail. Had to take Uber and pick up car next day.

Company refunded charges and compensated for other expenses. They did their best to excuse for the issue. It sounds like it was an exceptional case of bad luck.
Becoming a commuter at Marquette in Milwaukee this year means that I need to find parking. Parking in Milwaukee, like any other city, is fairly difficult. Just a couple weeks ago, I have contacted ParqEx about finding perfect 24-hour available parking near campus. Within 24 hours, I was surely able to get a parking spot booked for this semester on 21st and Wells, get my questions were all answered from the renter, and I was able to reserve the spot at a very decent price (cheaper than Marquette parking). ParqEx is able to provide safe, overnight, anytime, decently priced, and stable parking to accommodate my commuting ideal for this semester. Would definitely recommend for upper classmen living in apartments on campus and/or commuters going in and out a lot so you don’t have to fight for a parking spot in Milwaukee.
This app doesn’t even function. We were forced to sign up and use the app to pay for parking in our building, the same parking people have been using for years. Now having to go through the new payment system through the app, it doesn’t even show that we paid. The app continues to say they have no record of me in the system. Luckily, we don’t have to use the app to open the gate. Otherwise we would be locked out. So since we are compelled to use the app for parking payments, I have to screenshot every so often to make sure I have a record of my payments in the system. I’ve repeatedly submitted for email receipts, but they are never sent. so anyone using this system, make sure to screenshot any records you might see in the app for your own records and verification. And keep any and all emails.
I’ve never felt more compelled to write an app review than I have now. This is the poorest designed app I’ve ever used. Selecting a time to book is near to impossible with the tiny calendar and clock. It’s slow, ugly, and feels like a web interface. Finding a location nearby is impossible due to the terrible parking photos, the slow to load and refresh map with no current location pin, and the tiny search text box. It feels like this app was designed in Microsoft XP Word. The checkout process requires a card to be input instead of just using something fast like PayPal or Apple Pay. Not sure how this got approved in the App Store or who signed off on this at ParqEx HQ, but it needs to be scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up.
Also what’s up with all these obviously fake reviews?
I love the idea behind ParqEx. The app lets you find local private parking spots and the search function easily distinguished between short and long term bookings.
The virtual garage door opener function works marvels. I’ve never used my smartphone to access a garage before. Yay innovation!
My only complaint would be that the user interface is a little clunky. I read that ParqEx is a new company though, so I’ll give the benefit of doubt on this one.
I had hopes for this. But this app is still one of the worst I’ve ever used. There are actual grammatical errors in the copy and at my garage you’re supposed to be able to open and close the gate, with 24/7 access, and it doesn’t work. So what happens when you get locked out (or in!) because customer service is not 24/7. This just happened to me the other day and cause a line of cars to pile up because we couldn’t exit. The rep on the phone had no idea what to tell us to do. I will just continue to complain to the building to find another parking service.
This app is designed so poorly it’s a wonder you can even use it at all. Oh wait. You can’t. I tried to set up an account and it kept telling me to verify my email. I checked my spelling to make sure it was the right account, then my junk folder, then waited two more hours to see if it went through and nothing. Fast forward a few days and now it says my account doesn’t even exist. I was going to delete the app but I decided to write a review first letting others know that it’s not worth it. Don’t waste your time on this app.
I recently moved to Milwaukee and their Third Ward area is notorious for parking woes. ParqEx got me set up with an unbeatable price for a heated underground spot in a clean, high-end building. On top of that, their customer service is off the charts. Dealt with Stephanie who was extremely helpful in creating my online account. Steven is a rockstar and was responding to my emails within minutes. Can’t thank them enough!
This app gives me peace of mind when I drive downtown. I can book my parking in advance which not only saves me time but relieves the headache of “can I find parking? If so, how long will i have to drive around to find it and how much is it going to cost me?”. I heard about this app from a friend and have been sharing it with my friends. Everyone loves it.
We live in the Gold Coast and listed our spot on ParqEx. The process was super easy. It was a great idea as my husband works in the suburbs and the spot is empty during the day. I highly recommend it to others who are looking to supplement their income or are looking for a parking near them.
