Description
Particulars displays system information about your Mac. It shows computer name, model name, serial number, SoC/CPU, RAM, GPU, OS version, Server version, current user, uptime, disk space, and network configuration. It can be used in 4 modes: on your desktop, in the menu bar, in the Shortcuts app, or at the command line.
Particulars provides up-to-date information and dynamically changes when your system changes. For instance, if you switch Wi-Fi networks, Particulars shows the new network configuration immediately.
Particulars does not replace your desktop background image and is responsive to changes in your screen or space layout. It does not require any scripts or need any complex setup.
Particulars supports many disparate network configurations including IPv6, manual addressing, multiple addresses, captive portals, PPPoE, and VPNs.
Particulars has a special 'lab mode' to ease deployment in computer labs and datacenters. See the help book for more information.

Very Handy App!
I’m so glad that I found this app. Previously, I struggled to configure NerdTool and Übersicht to display my computer’s system information but the results were never satisfactory to me. Additionally, both those apps are a pain to work with.
Particulars does away with all the toil required with those other apps and provides quick and easy configuration & formatting options. Many thanks to Fraser Hess, the developer, for his generosity.
Excellent utility
I use this daily to keep tabs on disk space and network info. The only thing I've noticed is that the automatic text shading does not seem to work all the time when I use dynamic wallpaper in Ventura. It could be that i just don't understand how it's supposed to work.
Great Informative App
Ever since I found Particulars it's been a must-have on every Mac I have. One quirk I've found is on the new M1 Apple Silicon MacBook Pro I just got, I can't turn off the SoC (System on a Chip) display. It wants me to be proud of the fact that I'm running "Apple M1!"
