Path of Adventure

Playing this game some years ago and then replaying now bring a fine feeling that this game is seemly complete! A text based puzzle tactical game that encourages curiosity over customization and extensive add-ons, the base of the game allows you move forward in the same story but with the basic but not easy gameplay to route through! I would want to add a donation to see this game maybe comeback again besides the rewind option. Satisfaction
This game is inventive and simple. If you have a little bit of time to kill but don’t want to get too invested this game is slightly addicting and interesting. I enjoy optimizing each character I create and you don’t really need to pay money to complete the levels, but it gets harder as the game goes on.
I like the text-based dilemma mechanic and how it keeps things just complicated enough while still being accessible and nice and easy to understand after awhile. First level took me forever to beat and the hydra is easier than the other final bosses by a lot imo
This is a really fun adventure and it takes me back to old DND choose your own adventure books from when I was a kid. My only issue is that it’s too difficult. I still have not got past the “easy” level. I can’t even imagine how hard the next levels will be.
The game is actually a lot of fun. I was expecting rigged RNG to encourage players to shell out cash for progress. I thought the other reviews were paid/bots. But this is a very good game made by someone who seemed to actually be interested in making something with replayability, and not a cash grab. Obviously, the nature of text-based RPGs causes them to be a bit repetitive. It's the RNG that creates a new story. Sometimes you get really spooned, sometimes you die to a willow branch on day 3 in a ruin with only a rusty dagger and straw shield to your name because the river ate your ring. So far, 10/10. It's only getting a 4/5 because i refuse to take accountability for my skill issue
This is such an awesome game and I can’t stop playing it! I usually play this game every night before I go to bed and even during the day if I have time. This game is so cool and I love the characters and I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who was looking for an adventure game that was accessible with voiceover. The only thing I would say about this game is I think it would make it more fun if there were sound effects for different interactions in the game but either way, it’s so stupidly simple and so much fun
