Paymobil lets you buy, save and send money to any email or phone number in the world instantly with stablecoin. Made for easy, global cross-border payments.

You can request and send money to any email or phone number in the world. When you pay friends and family abroad, they can have the money in seconds instead of waiting for days.

We make instant global payments possible by using US dollar-backed stablecoins that can be cashed out in the recipients local currency. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies where the value is pegged to a national currency, in this case the US dollar.
We use USD Coin (USDC) on the Polygon network, the most trusted stablecoin which is 100% backed by real dollars. It is audited every month by a top-five US accounting firm. The current USDC supply is over $50B, and you can always exchange 1 USDC for 1 USD directly to your bank account (in supported countries) or at many exchanges worldwide, including; Coinbase, Circle, Binance, Kraken, Bitso, Ripio and more.

Paymobil is a user-friendly USDC wallet on Polygon where you can hold your money securely and don’t worry about losing your private key or paying transaction fees. It’s the first wallet that is easier to use than legacy p2p services. You don’t have to care that it is built with crypto technology under the hood.

A private key to your wallet is created on your phone when you sign up. It is encrypted and saved in your Keychain where sensitive information is kept safe. Only you have access to your funds, we never see your private key. If you use iCloud Keychain, you never have to worry about loosing your private key if you loose your phone. Just install Paymobil on a new iPhone and you are ready to go.

Stop pasting the user’s clipboard

The app seems beautifully designed. However, the app reads your clipboard on opening the app (without warning or consent). There is sometimes very sensitive information (e.g. crypto private keys or seed phrases) in the clipboard. For a cryptocurrency app, privacy and security should be important to you.

Developer Response ,

The app no longer reads the clipboard. It can now use deeplinks to claim any funds that someone sends you via email or sms.

Original response:
Hi and thanks for the feedback!
Paymobil uses the clipboard to paste and copy codes that let you receive money from other people when signing up or adding an email or phone number. I.e you can send money to someone who doesn't yet have the app installed, or doesn't know your account information. When they do install the app, the code is read and the money moves to their account.

The app checks ONLY for these specific Paymobil codes, if it's not present it does nothing to the clipboard. We wish Apple would provide a better way to do this (for example, having an app specific clipboard) but unfortunately this is the only way to provide the user experience people deserve.

We will monitor the development of Apple's API and as soon as it is possible we will improve this feature.
