As good as the more expensive compressors
I tried several other PDF compressor apps and PDF Compressor Star beats them all in simplicity and, more importantly, file size reduction.
And the price can't be beat! Highly recommended!
Squeezes well with decent-quality output, but few options & half-baked UI
I just got done testing half a dozen PDF squeezers against each other, and this one does a nice job, but the size/quality options are very limited, and two of them produce pretty poor-quality PDFs. And then there’s the UI — oof! Ugly buttons, ugly fonts, ugly colors, poor navigation, and *extremely* non-Mac — and not terribly user-friendly either. Not that you can’t figure it out quickly, but it’s just not clear why it’s set up the way it’s set up. Could be good, with a major redesign.
Great App!
I enjoy this simple app. It does what its suppose to do without frills. I like that. Get'er done!
