Information about the auto-renewal of subscription:

- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase;
– Subscriptions are billed weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually at the rate based on the subscription plan
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period;
- The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period. The cost depends on the selected plan;

Converted quickly… but TurboTax couldn’t read it.

The format that the document was converted into was not what I expected. TurboTax requires a CSV formatted document to load in my info from my crypto purchases. I paid to use this app, and it worked very fast. I saved the file, and it was upload-able to TurboTax. But they couldn’t process the document the way it was laid out. So I waisted my money. Don’t use this if you’re in the same boat with Robinhood. Just wait until 2/18 for TurboTax to be able to import it directly without having to upload the file. And if you’re not using TurboTax, good luck! Lol.

Deceptive

You don’t get any trials with this app, which is fine on its own, because fundamentally I feel like app developers should get paid for their work either through up-front payment, subscriptions, or ad revenue. It’s the deceptiveness, however, that’s the problem. Nowhere does it say that a subscription is REQUIRED until you’ve gone all the way through the process until the very end, and already given the app access to your files & photos.

It would be easy enough for them to put a pop-up box that says “subscription required!” At the very beginning. I have serious doubts of the integrity of the high reviews on this app. Seems like the real goal is a cheap way for them to data mine.

By the way, the subscription is $4/week. No free trial, no pay per conversion (which I would be fine with!). Just a scam.

Garbage

It says free to download, but it is not.
There’s no way to try it and see if it works.
The very first thing they do is try to force you to pay. Can’t even convert a single document.
There’s no trying to see how it works.
These companies should stop wasting our time.
If it’s not going to work at all, why have people install it to try? All we do is install it, then immediately delete it.
This garbage wastes our time and clutters our devices and accounts.
Because of this dishonesty, we’re not going to buy it. If we can’t even see it work, how do we know what we’re getting?
Just be honest and tell people it’s a paid only app, and doesn’t work until you pay?
Apple needs to clean up their policies and stop these types of abuses.
The App Store used to be better. We could clearly see what was paid only.
Now, they act like you can try it before you buy it, let you install it, and then you find out they immediately try to force a payment.
Very shady practice.
