PDF Corrector is a simple and practical pdf modification tool. You can add text, pictures, shapes to the pdf, and you can also use the eraser tool to erase unwanted content.
- Basic Steps -
1. Open a pdf file.
2. Eraser tool.
Click the “Eraser Tool” button to enter the eraser mode, and use the shortcut key (Esc) to exit the eraser mode.
3. Add text, set font style, text color, add border, etc.
4. Add shapes, set fill colors, border styles, etc.
5. Add pictures, change size, position, etc.
6. Delete element (Keyboard shortcuts - “Delete”)
7. Export current page as jpg (Menu Item -> File - Export the current page as jpg...)
8. Change the hierarchy of elements, Right click -> Send to back, Bring to front, etc.
9. Convert texts and shapes to annotations. Right click -> Convert to annotation
10.Sketch tool- Draw lines
You can add pictures only after upgrading to the professional version. (In-app purchase item)

did what i wanted, but...
I needed to make a simple edit on a resume:
erase 1 line and replace it with different text. It worked using the eraser tool and the text tool.
However...the saved version was very low quality, blurry, and when I tried uploading it as a pdf to job sites, i received an error message "cannot read document". Tried the unedited version and it uploaded just fine, so the issue is with the new version of the pdf.

There are parameter settings when exporting, do not check the page to the picture, this item is checked by default.
Slightly misleading app description
This app os fine if all you want to do is draw on top of an existing PDF, but you can do that using the build in Preview app from Apple. The description the developer provides on the app store gives the impression that you will be able to select and edit or delete text that already exists in the PDF you are editing. This does not appear to be true as far as I can tell.

The preview application can only add annotation types, not PDF base element types. This application can add images, text, lines, and other element types and regenerate PDF files. This is a great option if you want to change PDF content quickly.
After using the eraser, export the new PDF and select all the elements to merge into one. The new PDF will not retain the erased elements.
