PDF Merge + PDF Split 4+

Just the bare bones thing. It works. I use it often. You have to restart it for each new operation. No way to delete files that have been added to be combined. But not a big deal, it functions, and didn't cost much. I use it to prepare pdf music files for publication that start out as separate pdfs.

I can’t complain because hey, it’s 99 cents. But I really feel this should have a better interface. My main problem is that once you add files, you can’t drag and drop to reorder them. They just go “poof” and disappear off the list. Also the lack of preview of the file itself is not ideal. Again, for 99 cents, it’s worth it in a pinch and one wants to encourage the developer as much as one can but I think s/he needs to make more effort with the interface because that’s the bit that makes a utility well utilized!

I purchased another app awhile ago, it just merge. Of course I did not think about separating at time of purchase. I purchased this app for the splitting and it works, it also merges documents. Shame on me for not thinking ahead. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was because of the interface, it’s functional but crude. But for $.99 I would recommend the app.
