SImple
Splitting PDF files on a Mac is relatively easy. This tools makes it even easier, and allows the splitting with a bit more complex options.
In my case, i was splitting a book’s PDF to fit on a kindle which had a limitation of 50MB per file. There is no option in the splitter to do this by size. So, i checked the total size of the file, how many pages were in it, and told this app to split it accordingly. A click later the whole thing was done.
Works
Quick, no learning curve - very intuitive, and it works.
Price is right, too.
Won't Work with Encryped Files
Sadly, the application will not allow printing of pages from a secure PDF. We purchased to split pages of a signed document, but the software presents a pop-up window and won't continue. All other applications we have tried work and have no issue with secured PDFs, but come with a hefiter price tag.
