I have been a member of Pearachute basically since its launch and have seen improvements and some negatives over the years. We love the flexibility the most! Ability to add or cancel things last minute, because let’s be honest, having small kids under 4 their can always be something that comes up. Customer service is usually pretty great and someone responds via email within a few hours or day. There has a been an instance here or there where I haven’t been able to contact right away (no phone number that is linked to an office) and no response via email after a day or two, where it was a time sensitive issue. Otherwise they are always super helpful and friendly. We love the variety of classes and drop ins, could alway use more! Will say I’m not a fan of the ‘other’ stuff that shows up in the feed, mostly marketing or events that really have nothing to do with where we live. It’s run by moms in my neighborhoods and I thank them for their hard work!

I don’t know about other parents, but my kids can be jerks. One day they love music and then the next week music is the worst thing that could ever happen to them. Before Pearachute, I forced my kids to keep going to classes they “hated” because I had already paid for the entire 10-12 week session. Not to mention, if your kid got sick, you’re SOL since most places don’t offer make-ups or money back for missed classes. Seriously, I couldn’t be more thrilled with Pearachute—we’ve been members since its launch. The flexibility and control is EVERYTHING. Pearachute itself gets 100 stars from me. The reason the app gets 4 stars is because it’s still relatively new so there are some minor glitches, like being randomly signed out. The app could use added features too, like the ability to favorite classes or save filters. That said since the introduction of the app to where it is now, it’s already improved drastically. The company clearly listens to their users. So I won’t be deleting this app anytime soon.

A New Mom’s Best Friend

I stumbled upon this app when looking for info on kids activities in my city. I have a 3 yr old and have been looking for something like this since he was born. I use to scavenger local parents magazines or endlessly search event websites for fun, engaging, things to do. So to say I was instantly impressed with the convenience of this app would be an understatement. This app lets me browse a ton of different play areas and classes around the area. I no longer have to do research on each class or their fees or availability. I simply book a class with my credits, often the same day, and show up and say I booked thru Pearachute. It’s that simple. I am amazed at how easy and informative this app is and disappointed I didn’t hear of it sooner. Now I get to explore so many new classes & my son absolutely loves it! I get to actually say to him.. would you like to try cooking today? Or karate? Maybe an art class? This app has definitely helped me feel more informed and connected to my community.
