Description

Water tracker? Think again! Up your hydration game, and drink water when your body needs it most with this different take on a water intake tracker.

P is a new take on hydration apps: it reminds you to drink water when it’s been a long time since you peed, helping you build a healthy habit.

Just tap one button every time you’re on your way to the bathroom! Great for Apple Watch or a Lock Screen Widget, and not as complicated as a water tracker.

Key features:
- Drink water when your body needs it most, instead of based on just water intake
- Great Apple Watch app: Put it on your watch face for fast access while you head to the restroom!
- Customizable drink water reminder notifications
- Apple Health integration
- Lock Screen widgets
- Home Screen widgets
- Hydration calendar (pee count per day)
- Add notes on pees
- See Where You Peed: include location on pees for a low-effort journal of your life
- Tell Siri to “Log a P”
- Data export as CSV
- Supported by scientific research
- Add friends so you can remind them to drink water

If you’ve ever had a UTI or kidney stone, you know how important it is to drink water. Hydration is so important! There can be many benefits of drinking water, like weight loss, healthy skin, mental clarity, and much more. Dehydration can hold you back from being your best self.

Now it’s easy to know when it’s water time. This hydration app gets you in tune with your body, especially when you need to drink water most.

P is like a fitness game, taking the water tracker concept and turning it around, so you don’t need to track water intake. That makes it much a simpler free water drinking reminder app.

Don't break that streak! You can even see where you stack up against the streaks of other users on the Leaderboard.

Even though P is designed to help you drink water as a hydration app and water drinking reminder app, you may also want to use it as a simple pee tracker or bathroom tracker. This can be helpful for tracking data related to prostate conditions, bladder conditions, avoiding UTIs, avoiding kidney stones, and more.

Or, you may be experimenting with intermittent fasting or looking for a water fasting app. This water app isn’t specifically designed for that, but could be helpful in your journey.

Remember, this is not a water tracker! There is no way to record when you drink water, or how much water you drink. Instead, it's a hydration app based on how often you pee!

Join the thousands of happy users who have used P to drink water and monitor their hydration based on how often they pee instead of a water tracker!

P does not provide medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. It's just a fun way to remember to drink more water or track your pees. Ask a licensed medical professional if you have any questions about:
- kidney stones
- prostate conditions, or BPH
- interstitial cystitis and bladder conditions
- urinary tract infections (UTI)
- getting well-hydrated to prevent hangovers

P includes an optional subscription to unlock additional features. If you choose to purchase a subscription, it will be charged to your App Store account and will automatically renew, unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Terms of Use: https://www.peeandseeit.com/privacy-policy.html

Great app for someone with prostate issues.

I think I discovered this app in 2017 when I was experiencing some issues with my prostate. At that time, I wanted to track the duration between my bathroom breaks, which the app incredibly helped with. I have an on-and-off relationship with the app because sometimes I didn't need it. Well, I got tired of logging pees every 40 minutes or so; so I stopped. However, as my prostate issue came back and I just had prostate surgery, so I decided to give the app another "full-time" go to help me track the time duration between my bathroom breaks. I even subscribed to John's fancy subscriber options (which are amazing, by the way). It's true that this app is designed for hydration reminders, but it's been incredibly useful for me as a prostate issue tracking app. Before my surgery, I would need to go every 30-45 minutes, but now the app shows me that I can wait for at least 2 2 1/2 hours or more. I feel much better, but I still use John's amazing app to keep me updated with my "new" prostate. I'm forever grateful to John and his P app. Even though I didn't use it regularly over the last 5 years, I have logged every visit to the bathroom since my surgery. Thanks a bunch, John! Yes, you are the best.

Wow, thank you so much for this incredible, detailed review! I'm so happy to hear about how you use the app, and that you find it so useful now after surgery. Knowing that people use it as a pee tracker than a water reminder helps me as I consider future features and the development roadmap.

Amazing

All of my data has been restored :D

UPDATE: The developer is on top of trying to restore my data. He is so dedicated to making this a great app so if you have any problems just let him know and I’m sure he’ll do whatever he can to fix it. This app has been exactly what I needed in a urination tracking app and the loss of data was unfortunate, but I’m confident the developer is doing everything he can to restore it and to keep it from happening to anyone else. I’ll definitely continue to use this app.

The app is fully functional and i like all of the features it has, today all of my logs were deleted after the update. The only logs that were kept were today’s which is unfortunate because I had over 100 pees logged and a 22 day streak. But if you don’t care about that kind of stuff then the app will do exactly what you need it to do which is ultimately remind you to drink water when you haven’t peed in a certain amount of time.

Developer Response ,

Hi, I'm really sorry about your lost data! I take data loss very seriously with this app because I know people count on it. This update changed a lot of things in the background, and I tested a lot before releasing it, but it turns out there have been some issues. I'm working to resolve them going forward. The good news is your data is probably still in iCloud somewhere, and I hope to restore it in a future update. Please continue using the app normally, and I will keep working on an update that will attempt to restore your data. If you email me at peeandsee@ganotis.com I can discuss this with you more, or answer any other questions you have. Sorry to disappoint!!!

Doesn’t sync w/ my Apple Watch

I downloaded a bunch of water apps and this was the only one I kept updated. I’ve found myself using the Apple Watch app more frequently because it’s easy to log effortlessly. Unfortunately, the pees logged on my Watch don’t sync with the app on my phone, and I have to enter the times manually. This was ok for the first couple of days I was enamored with the app, but it’s tedious and a bit of a pain. I like the graphs on the iPhone app, so I hope that this can be fixed soon. The app is kitsch and fun, and I’ve definitely been drinking more water. My boyfriend and I are comparing the amount we pee 100% more than previously, so thanks for that, I guess!

Developer Response ,

Hello! That is not normal. Please try turning your phone and Apple Watch off and then back on. If that doesn’t help, please contact me at peeandsee@ganotis.com. I want to make sure we get this resolved!
