Sure, the handwriting experience in Penbook is best-in-class. And yes, we love how Live Paper puts our Calendar events in an agenda alongside our sketches and scribbles. But what really keeps us coming back is how the app obsesses over customization, from paper and pen types to templates that have completely changed the way we take notes.
This app is my favorite thing as a teacher! I use this to present my lessons to students by sharing my iPad screen on the board. It allows me to live annotate the work to model problems for students. I would like it if a way to select multiple pages to copy would be added- it takes a lot of time to copy pages into new books. And a way to organize books into folders maybe. I make a ✨lot✨ of books.
This is a great appBut the problem is that we need to pay money to make a new book and select a cool book that looks cool and why I like this app is because you can pick cute stationerys , colors, pens and more!!!😜 TYSM!!!! this is so useful and that is what I am going to say about this app😊 I hope you have a wonderful day🤗 bye 👋
The app is great. It's a pleasure to use. The main problem for me is that iCloud doesn't sync between devices well. If you regularly synchronize, you might see an error. This will prevent you from using Notepad on multiple devices. Making a backup on all devices doesn't help. I don't know how to solve this problem. It's really hard to fully uninstall the app and reinstall it each time. So, if you want to work on several devices at the same time, I wouldn't recommend buying this app.
While writing with the pen my hand touches the screen and brings up menus or moves the screen. I wish I could disable hand controls so only the pen does anything. I also wish I could move around the widgets so they don’t get in the way of the writing. Like the pens onto the left side of the screen. Other than that it is very useful for taking notes, love that you can move stuff around with the select tool.
Thanks for the feedback :) In the app’s Settings screen, make sure “Only Draw with Apple Pencil” is enabled. You can also enable “Left-handed layout”, which will scoot the pen tools over to the other side.
I love the templates available, and the UI layout. It feels more intuitive than other apps. My only gripe, is that I wish I could somehow lock PDF files when they are imported. The fact that the page is always constantly being shifted or that the UI is prompting me if I want to crop or delete the image cannot be exited out of on iPad without having to zoom out and back in, and usually not without moving the PDF page and having to undo the changes as highlighting and annotations for classes gets thrown out of place, frustrating for PDF page.
The latest upgrade has lost all of my important information and I can no longer use the app on my iPad. I had to delete the app and reinstall it, I can get into the app but only for a very short period before it closes itself out. When I do initially open it, there is no option to “restore purchases” or to login. Only options are to buy a plan. I had everything in there, calendars, important information I needed access to recently, passwords, This has been completely devastating! I can open the app on my iPhone, but the cloud did not save anything from the past year or so… :( I guess, lesson learned! Going back to hard book organizers and notebooks! Pen and paper !
