Limited number of reads
This FREE app only allows you to read a few articles each month before you are required to purchase a subscription to its costly e-edition paper.
Poor quality. Screen jumps around when scrolling. Why would I subscribe to an app that’s so buggy? Furthermore, why make users subscribe when you are already getting revenue from paid advertisements? Seems like greedy PJ Star wants to have its cake and eat it too. News should be free to all especially during these times with the pandemic and racial injustice protests, rioting, etc. give us all a break and stop capping the number of articles we can read.

We've fixed those bugs that caused the app to crash.
Got an email from the developer today saying the ad bug has been fixed and to update my review. Well, it hasn’t. Ads keep popping up making you lose your place in the feed.
And it’s especially frustrating since the old app worked so well and the devs broke it probably because someone wanted the ad structure more prominent.
Come on, this is a simple news app, how much effort does it take to get it right?
