Does everything you need. Food tracking health tracking included. Best feature other than the logging is the PK Estimator. Love being able to see and have a good idea of what I have going on inside me and adjust if I need to. There was an issue with a feature after an update so I sent a message and they pushed a new update in 24 hours. Subscription is absolutely worth it. Hope they keep going and building. Big fan.
Good Concept, but the Developers Have More Work to Do

The app has potential, but the dosing functionality needs work before I would pay for a subscription.I tested three medications. With tirzepatide, I could select mg, mcg, or units and track my dose the way I actually administer it. With retatrutide, the units option appeared, but the app would not allow me to select it. I could only use mg or mcg. With HCG, units were not offered at all. The only choices were mg or mcg, which makes no sense for HCG. HCG is normally dosed in IU.This is especially frustrating because the app already accounts for reconstitution. I know the concentration and how many syringe units I administer based on how I reconstituted the vial. Just let me record the actual number of units I take.If an app is specifically designed to track peptides and related medications, its dosing options need to match the medications it supports. At a minimum, it should allow appropriate selections for mg, mcg, IU, and syringe units rather than restricting users to units that may not even apply to that medication.Everything else I saw looked good, but this is core functionality. With only a three-day free trial before requiring a subscription, I’m not paying for an app that can accurately track one medication but not the others. I deleted it.Fix the dosing options and I’d consider trying it again.

The app WAS perfect

This app was perfectly simple in the beginning until the developers decided to completely change how the app looks. Arlo makes the entire app feel like its for kids. There’s ads for foods to eat when on a GLP1. The peptide calculator went away, but is now back, and buried behind another window. Unfortunately I’ve paid for a year of this app. So if I don’t see some changes revert, I’d strongly suggest getting a refund if you’ve already paid, or not subscribing until the app finds some kind of stability. Changing everything after they gain subscriptions feels deceptive and dishonest.

Thanks for the detail. The food suggestions aren't ads: they're picks from community votes, and we aren't affiliated with those brands. The latest update adds a switch to hide them (profile picture, then Personalization, then GLP-1 food picks). The same screen can give the calculator its own tab in place of Community.

I have no problem with technical details, but this app is quirky. First, it would not all me to choose “IU” as a default dose, even though it’s in the menu. I sent a request to support about this and never heard back. Next was billing. The app seemed buggy about billing and I had to go through the billing choices three different times BEFORE I could even try the app. In the end, I had two subsections, one through Apple and one through Stripe.I thought, I paid for a month so I need to figure it out. After spending an hour trying to enter peptides and protocols, I finally gave up and decided this is not the app for me. DELETE.

Not hearing back about the IU dose question and ending up with two subscriptions, one through Apple and one through Stripe, is a rough way to start with the app. Entering peptides and protocols shouldn't take an hour of guesswork either. Email support@pepaiapp.com and we'll take a look at what's active on both subscriptions and help sort out the duplicate, and if Apple's side hasn't been refunded yet, a second request through Apple with the details often gets further than the first.
