Useful application to recognize breeds.
I have used this application on my iPhone and on my previous Samsung. I really like the app, however there is room for improvement.
First, too many repeats of the same breeds for the daily dog. Also, after seeing the daily dog I would like to link over to the dogs listing to learn more about the breed, I seem to recall that the application used to do this. To many times some odd named breed is featured, but once the feature is closed (daily dog) I can't find the listing for it, usually because I forgot part of the name.
Overall, a fun app that I enjoy, as I'm a dog nut!
Cool idea but ...
This app is an awesome idea in theory and I'm sure works wonderfully for purebreds but not so great for those of us with rescue mutts. It told me my mutt is Chinese crested, which I definitely think makes up part of her DNA but I wish it would give us more than one breed for mixed dogs. That brings me to the other huge downside of the app, which is that unless it is a very common breed, you have to pay to unlock them. The part where you can type in your dog's characteristics and it guesses the breed is far too vague and never gives even close to a correct answer. It needs to allot us way more choices and allow us to check more than one box in a category or it will most likely never be accurate. All in all, cool idea but needs a lot of work. Would absolutely love this app if you could apply these changes.
Great way to learn knowledge
So I’ve had this app since 2016 and it’s one of the most helpful apps I’ve come across. I used it all throughout vet assistant classes to help identify breeds I didn’t know as well as look for a perfect dog to fit my lifestyle and family. I highly recommend you get it for all your future and current dog fact and preparation! It gives a clear understanding of what to watch out for with certain breeds and what to be mindful of. I love this app and highly recommend! Especially if you’re planning to get a dog/puppy!
