Period Tracker ‪⋆‬ 4+

I love this app. I was so tired of literally swiping through millions of articles, chat topics, ads, ads, ads, more ads to JUST see when I was supposed to start. It was so annoying and frustrating. I deleted old apps and went looking for something minimalist that would be straight forward - to the point. Tell me the info I NEED and that’s it! And THIS APP IS IT!!! Thank you to the developer for making an app that tells me what I need to know and making my information easy to access and see. The first screen that pops up tells me exactly what I need. Thank you!!!

Dear developers, women are human beings whose biological functions are not predictable to the exact day of every month of every year. Nor are their cycles consistent in length. To make this app lock in a schedule and not allow the users to choose which day of a given month they actually started their period renders this app useless.

Even if you are marketing this to only women with EXTREMELY predictable cycles, they will find the app inaccurate eventually. Because even the most predictable cycles will be off on occasion. After a few “off” cycles, the app’s predictions will be wrong by a week or more. The only fix the user can do to correct this is shorten the cycle time for the next cycle then change it back again after their period ends. Who wants to do all that when there are plenty of other apps where you can just choose the day you start and the app calculates the days from there?

This all is free which I love! Unfortunately this app is not what I am looking for when it comes to my 11yr who just started her first period. If you are looking for just a simple basic starter app to track your cycle or your child’s cycle then this is the app for you! I do like that it has reminders. I wish that the app would acknowledge the age of acknowledge a “first time” because you don’t know how long your cycle is if it’s the first time you’ve ever experienced a period, you don’t know anything and there’s no options for that in the app. I also wish that there was some articles or even videos such as tips and advice for young girls just experiencing for the first time. Other than that this app is good.
