Pet Care Tracker Dog Cat Log 12+

Don’t let the fact that this app doesn’t have a ton of reviews yet deter you, it’s an amazing resource! I’m fairly new to using the app, but it’s so user-friendly and organised, it’s the perfect way to keep track of all my pets appointments, any specific needs as well as general health stuff! One of my favourite features is the ability to upload documents! This feature is only available with the paid version but it’s definitely worth it because so far it’s the only app I’ve seen that allows you to manually upload any documents. Most I’ve looked into don’t have the feature to store documents at all, and the few that do only allow them to be uploaded directly by your vet, which means that vet has to have partnered with the app in question which mine has not. I also really love the feature I actually just discovered, the option to select common cat/unkown/moggie as the breed for your cat as none of my cats are purebred and I don’t like having to guess. The app developer is very responsive and incredibly kind…when temporary money troubles meant I couldn’t officially purchase the paid version after my trial, I reached out to the dev and he very kindly gifted me a free month of the paid features! By the time that month is up I’ll definitely be able to purchase the paid version of the app and will be doing it! Thank you for such an amazing resource for pet parents!

My dog had to have emergency spinal surgery and getting everything prepared for recovery has been hard in such a short amount of time. This app has been so helpful in keeping track of ALL the various medications he has to take and keeping to his strict activity goals during the day. It will make sharing this information with the vet at his next check-up so easy and helps relieve the worry during this stressful time. Plus, being able to share the calendar with other family members who are home with him is fantastic. No stress and worrying over the phone over keeping track who gave our pet what and at what time. The scope of options is incredible compared to other apps that only keep track of the medication. With the log personalization options, I can easily look back see when I last took my pup out to potty, when he last walked, rested, etc. I would recommend this app to anyone who is looking to keep track of their pet’s health, especially when their recovering from medical issues and need constant observation. I plan to share the app with my vet the next time we go. Thank you so much!

This useful app lets multiple pet parents manage and track the health of old/sick pets.

We have an old sick cat. We used this app to track who has given different meds, how much he ate, and his weight and behavior.

The interface and features take some getting used to. For example, scheduled tasks on calendar are shown as tiles and each task tile has a colored bar on it. The color of the bar indicates the status of the task (green = completed, blue = scheduled, red = overdue). But there is no color key or pop up to teach you what the colors mean, ex: color coding is not used to distinguish different types of tasks (food vs meds vs weight).

Similarly, when a scheduled task is marked as completed, a colored box that says “completed” appears under the task name, but the options to “skip” or “complete” remain at the bottom of the task card (confusing). That said, with a little effort (like 5 minute of effort) you will get the hang of it.

Overall, this app is way better than sticky notes, a DIY shared spreadsheet / shared calendar, or any of the other pet apps we tried. It does everything we need it to and it is free (with ads), but if you can afford it, pay this developer the $40/year to make it ad-free. They deserve it.

I did just hire a designer and you will start seeing substancial interface and experience improvements. All subscription revenue is re-invested back into the project or to pay the bills every year:)
