You meet the person. Then you book.
Every pet sitter and dog walker on Petme has a real social profile: their posts, their home, their own pets, the way they care for animals every day. By the time you book, you already know who's opening the door for your pet.
Every booking includes
- Access to the Petme Protection Plan: up to $20,000 in vet support
- 24/7 support from real humans, never bots
- No platform fees: you pay the sitter's rate, nothing on top
- Cashback after every completed booking
- Photo and video updates while you're away
Care for every pet
- Dog walking, boarding, house sitting, doggy daycare, and drop-in visits
- Cat sitters too: drop-in visits are made for cats and independent pets
- Every sitter is ID-verified and background-checked
- Message sitters first, follow their feeds, and read reviews from pet parents like you
How it works
1. Sign up free in 30 seconds, no card required
2. Browse sitters near you and explore their profiles
3. Message them and follow their day-to-day on their feed
4. Book and pay securely, then earn cashback after every completed stay
5. Follow your pet's day through updates on your sitter's feed
Why pet parents stay
Trust starts before the booking: you see the person, not just a rating. The price you see is the price you pay. And every time you book, Petme gives some of it back.
For pet sitters
Offer walking, boarding, house sitting, daycare, or drop-in visits. Your profile feed shows pet parents who you really are. Post actively and get discovered locally. Keep up to 90% of what you earn.

If you like sharing photos and videos of your fur friends, this is the best app!! Imagine no distractions, just adorable animals of all shapes and sizes. The best feature is being able to create multiple profiles with a single account. I can access each pet profile instantly. I love it! 😻

Platform needs more safeguards for sitters
daisyjune1
Signed up as a sitter and didn’t receive any requests for months, then finally got one from a completely blank profile (no photo, no pet details, no location). The app still allowed them to send a booking request with just a price listed. The request was for dog walking over Memorial Day weekend, just once each morning, but there were zero details about the dog, the home, or even the general area. When I asked for basic info, they closed the request without responding. For safety and usability, sitters should be able to see at least general location, pet type, and some profile verification before accepting requests. Right now it feels like there aren’t enough safeguards in place.
Somewhat disappointed

I have been on the app for roughly 3 weeks and there is very little activity from families looking for sitters. I live in a populated area and the only requests I have gotten are from accounts that have now been banned (most likely scams or bots the app has shut down). I am keeping an open mind and if it suddenly picks up I will come back and delete my review but it seems like the platform does not have many users compared to more popular ones like rover, it has made me rethink my decision a bit.
Developer Response
Hi Carly,Thank you for your feedback. Yes, indeed we have a highly robust system for scam and bot detection, which we continuously improve. The safety of our users, their pets and pet sitters on Petme is not negotiable for us, which makes us the safest platform on the market by far. Petme currently has more than 100,000 users on the platform and hundreds joining on a daily basis. While we can guarantee the authenticity of our user base, we cannot guarantee that they will choose to book with you.Your Petme profile is your business, and we encourage you to take full advantage of all the tools and features available on the app to promote it. Many pet sitters are already succeeding on Petme because with us, they keep way more of what they earn compared to other apps and by actively showcasing and sharing their services. We believe you can do the same. Kind regards,The Petme Team
Good first impression
Brutal !!!!
I’m still new to the app, but so far my experience has been positive. The platform is easy to use, clear, and well organized. I’m looking forward to continuing to use it.
Grooming has arrived.
You can now find verified groomers near you, right alongside sitters and walkers, with zero booking fees and cashback after every completed booking.
Groom professionally? Sitters can apply to offer grooming and work on their own schedule.
Vets at your door and pet photo shoots are still coming. I am pacing myself.
