Personal finance for power users. Pexie is a modern, double-entry bookkeeping app for individuals and small businesses. It has many useful features in a simple, intuitive interface: - Double-entry accounting system that makes sure your book is always balanced. - Easy reconciliation for accounts and transactions, both individually and in batch - Flexible reporting - Multiple currencies - Emoji icons for accounts and books Pexie is supported by subscriptions. You can enter up to 1,000 transactions per book. If you choose to purchase Unlimited Transactions, payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes store after purchase. Current price for Unlimited Transactions is $14.99 USD per year, and may vary from country to country. There are no import or export features though. I have many transactions I'd love to import from previous bookkeeping software. But more important is export because apps tend to die. I have no way to retrieve my data if your app stops working.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that exporting is very important to maintain data ownership. Currently the app can export data into a .pexie file, which is in a compressed JSON format. To export the data for a book, swift left on the book and tap "share". The exported file can be imported back into Pexie via the share sheet, too.
