Ratings and Reviews
Has Potential
I love PFF’s approach to analytics in general, but the app, in its current state, does not include a lot of the features available via web browser (i.e. player/team stats, lineup view, etc).
You are pretty much limited to the home page, consisting only of articles, betting tab, and fantasy tab.
If the above web browser features are made available in the app, it’d be pretty much perfect. As of now, I find myself not using the app much and just going to the website instead.
#PrintingPress
Since, Austin Gayle decided to jump ship. I had to fire on the printing press to forecast some betting options. Generally the best strategy was betting again what Austin felt. PFF has a lot of great content in terms of betting. The question, I have since this may be read in a podcast. Is it better to make a lot of smaller minimum bets (a shotgun approach) or to make some larger more precise (long range target shooting approach) to try and maximize your wins?
Can’t login through Google SSO
The only oversight on the app is that I can’t login to my PFF+ account since you can’t login through Google in the app. I still have to use their website to view their paid content. The app itself is great and I love dark mode, I just wish they would organize their content like their home page. It’s a bit difficult to see the recent articles. It’s so close to something I would use daily.
