So I was thinking "didn't Zack mention something about Phaëton?" I know he said nothing about a video game came up, but I thought that there might be more results now, since the information was published in "Armada." So I just search for "phaëton" and this is the first result!!! I'm still freaking out a bit, so I can't really concentrate on playing. A bit hard to aim, but fun nonetheless!!
I LOVED ARMADA! The fact that the character’s usernames were at the end if you died just made it SO MUCH BETTER! I think this is my first Atari shooter game (I played the original Mario Bros on my mom’s NES). I’m definitely going to keep playing to get better at this! 5/5 would totally recommend to anyone.
Fantastic book, fantastic game!
I read the book, and out of curiosity I checked to see if PHAËTON was an app. Sooo..... turns out it is, and it is reminiscent of a 3D Galaga, except with Death Stars and Subrakai fighters! Seriously, these graphics are obviously based off of the old Atari vector graphics. All in all, solid little fictional arcade game!
